"I'm just getting to know you, and I don't want you to leave so soon."

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"Ah." He lets go and backs away. "Well, I'll let you go. But I hope to see you again."

030

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"Why are you going back to Storm's End, then?"

020

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"Honestly, I'll give you the same answer. But I won't say no to spending more time with you." He returned the peck, this time to the tip of her nose.

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"Ah..." That experience was pretty similar, then. "Well, have I met your expectations?"

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"No, just my brother." He joked, wrapping his arm back around her again. "Everything, but first...what have you heard about me? You knew of this betrothal before I did."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

"Let them search. Unless it's my brother Oscar," He laughs. "I think I'd like to get to know you better."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

"And I promise to be the best husband for you." He looked back at the bouquet, and then back to her. "So...what do we do now?"

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Kermit decides to bend down and help her, collecting the last of the flowers before handing them to her. "I'll do my best for such an amazing wife."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Oh. That's what it was. If it helped her, he was starting to blush as well.

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

He looked at the grass, then furrowed his brows as he looked back up. "What about the grass?"

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

"You're amazing, really." He looked absolutely spellbound as he stared back at her.

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

It took a few moments for him to break the kiss, looking back at her with his eyes wide and him panting slightly. "Wow . . ."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

The more they kissed, the more he found himself intrigued, even intoxicated. She was a really good kisser, and combined with everything else they had done... ...perhaps they could make this betrothal work.

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

He fluttered his eyes closed while returning the kiss. "Mmm...gods..."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

He gently wraps an arm around her during this soft kiss. "Hmm...not too bad."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

"Oh grandsire would be furious.... Please kiss me, Floris."

"With how you're blushing, I'm surprised you haven't attempted it now."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"I suppose we will. But what's the harm in that?"

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Good morrow! Still missing my friends and the Lads.

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"My parents. On the cheek, I'll clarify. And perhaps a pretty girl a long time ago, but nothing more."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"You can share it with me anyway, if you'd like."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

He furrowed his brows for a few moments. "Honestly...I'm not quite sure."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

So was Kermit also speechless, but he couldn't stay mad at her being as beautiful as she was. "I try, anyway."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

That was when Kermit finally stood up, taking her hand and gently kissing it. "You don't have to. I'll try my best to make you comfortable and happy."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"Not if I'm not the lord yet. And House Tully is known for arranging marriages anyway, so I guess this wasn't surprising." He let out a sigh as he stood up. "My guess is that they thought there wasn't a better time. I am of betrothal age, anyway."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"Looks like I don't either." He looked back over at her. "Perhaps they thought it was wise. You can forgive me; we don't really speak much anymore since the war started."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

He blinked his eyes in surprise for a few moments. "So my great-grandsire did request you. Either that, or the arrangements were made before the war. Forgive me."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

He let out a sigh of his own. It still was a disgusting subject to talk about. "Anyway, it's true. I'm not betrothed."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"No, not really. I just live in a region constantly ravaged by war." Somehow, he sits down. "I know better. This war started with them, but war in general did not."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

He shakes his head. "No, I'm not. And a dragon's presence hasn't started wars for thousands of years before. I know that."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"Not interested in marriage till this war is done and over with." Somehow, he found himself stopping. Why was he still talking with her?

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

"Hopefully you can tell him I'm not interested, then." That was when he started walking away.

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

That was what he could tell. Though why she was wandering around unescorted he had no idea. "You were asked by my great-grandsire, I presume."

000

Kermit Tully @riverlandsblack.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

He might have needed to know about this, considering he was an upcoming Lord Paramount. "And just what do you mean by that? You're courting House Vance of Atranta or something like that?"
