The new-fallen snow covers over a multitude of sins in Coldwater. As Amber searches Ms. Avery’s journals for clues about her past, Ronnie continues to welcome new creatures to Coldwater. Including one that no one has ever encountered before, and it shows up right in Logan’s backyard.
The creature, a deer-turned-human named Goldie, claims that she’s been sent to find Amber and bring her back to Quebec, and Amber is convinced that this mystery is connected to her absent father. Ronnie, Amber, and Logan, with whom she's formed a reluctant truce, embark on a road trip over the Canadian border, complete with border-patrol hijinks and rumors of druids deep in the woods. When she reaches the city, she discovers that creatures across Quebec have been disappearing, including the enigmatic proprietor of their magical hotel.
But Quebec’s charming Christmas markets, steaming mugs of mulled wine, and myths whispered behind closed doors hide a darker world beneath. As Amber becomes more and more convinced that her missing father is connected to the disappearances, she starts to question her role in his life—and his legacy.
Expectations
These ARCs are sent out with the intent to create buzz and garner honest reviews from avid readers and reviewers. Some places it would be most helpful to have reviews are Goodreads, Storygraph, Fable, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. However, if you have other places that you would like to review my book that is perfectly fine to do. If you like my book enough to post it on your social media account, all the better.
The release date is Tuesday November 3rd so reviews should be posted prior to or shortly after that date.
I plan to send the eARCs a month prior to launch.
Thank you again,
Rita
