If I am going I always said it would be the top of line PC. Now that Xbox will have Stream available I will be able to shift between the 2. Xbox on the TV and PC in the studio. Not only that many don’t know I do all my content and podcast on a MacBook Air M1 2021. I’ll be able to do a bit more.

I’m not a fan of being called a hypocrite to be honest. People are allowed to change their minds. That’s not hypocrisy. I’ve made a bunch of jokes about my friends all shifting to PC. That’s all they are, jokes. I want to be able to engage with my friends wherever they are.

Regarded of how it ended up that trailer looked awesome. Was some great work hope you end up in a good spot mate.

I play both. All 1st and 3rd party on Xbox. Only 1st on PS.

000

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Oh and referencing Kotaku isn’t a strong point either.

000

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

What are you talking about now Joe? It’s a tactic I see often from people. “I can’t argue my position and I don’t like the other guys position so I’ll call him a console warrior” Xbox will very likely bring a great new console. Probably one of the best we’ve ever seen. But they may not.

100

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

The ILP boys would have heard what I heard. Long before it got leaked out. I know what the plan was/is for the console. I believe it’s coming, but that doesn’t mean that things can’t change.

100

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

So that was a year ago. We’ve seen them pivot and reneg on things they’ve said before. But there will be another console but that’ll likely be the last we see in that config. We need to be realistic about the future until we have more info

100

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

The victim may end up being the console itself. That’s the concern.

#Xbox has made some huge strides the games/roadmap has never looked better. They’ve made some great decisions as a company. However, there’s one I disagree with and it is because all of the evidence points to it being a bad decision. Here’s why 👇🏻 youtu.be/uDqi1TSih-Q

130

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Yes agreed. But I don’t think they white label they’ll more likely put out a huge swathe of diverse content I really see them becoming THE brand again. Unfortunately I don’t think they see it Games are what we come for, you have the IT content and that’ll bring over gamers. The game hasn’t changed

110

Riskit @riskit4thebiskit.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Thanks mate We all have our opinions on what strategy they should pursue For me, there’s nothing in the current empirical data that I have access to nor in the history of content driven platforms that would suggest their exclusive strategy works long term. In fact quite the opposite. But we’ll see.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having pronouns in a game.

Yes they’ve made many mistakes. But they’re innovating. Let them cook, they’re just about to fire on all cylinders.

New app so I’m going to try common sense and facts on you in good faith. 1. Gamertags 2. Internal Hard drive in consoles 3. Party Chat 4. Ethernet ports in consoles 5. Achievements/trophies 6. App linking mobile to console 7. Kinect (Tech still used today in other industries) I could go on…….

Let me tell you something. This kid….. this kid is a force to be reckoned with. He’s going to be a handful. 3yo and he’s half my height 🤦🏻‍♂️

There been a lot of controversy around #Xbox since….. well since I can remember. People forget that it’s been the most innovative platform in the business. The more recent controversy is Xbox continuing to innovate. I’m still here Holding The Line.

I vote for me and my family. I hate to be the dad in the room. When you have a family you can’t afford to be ideologically captured. You don’t choose a side. You choose your family. That happened very early for me so I know I’m not the norm.
