Some GOP Senators will surely have some questions about this. I mean, who knows who else was in town on the same day?!

It took me a minute of searching to get what is being said here. She's suing for the phone records subpoena, but in the lawsuit claims the name Arctic Frost is a dig at Trump's complexion. Also, AFAIK, S&D clause doesn't protect Congress members from investigation for treason.

He *did* say he would run the government like he runs his businesses...

A billionaire. Just a lowly *one* billion dollar, billionaire. Could lose 99% of their wealth and STILL be in the top 0.01% of Americans, according to their net worth.

Makes me wonder what "rules" the Russians were following before this order. They have dropped cluster munitions on civilians, sent thousands of missiles and drones into civilian zones in Ukrainian cities. Massacred civilians in Bucha and Borodyanka. Executed prisoners of war. The list goes on...

I can't wait to see all that shit ripped down. It will be a spiritual and physical cleansing of the White House when he leaves.

If the other side is fascist, you *should* be polarized from that.

These manosphere, incel, MAGA motherf*ckers are so damn obsessed over what's going on in other people's pants. It's almost like they're afraid people are gonna find out what's going on in theirs.

I couldn't stand Trump since the 90's. He didn't register enough for me to hate, but I thought he was a despicable person. I think a lot of Americans just thought of him as caricature before 2016. They figured it was an act. No. It was definitely not an act...

Economists were saying this months ago about oil/energy markets. In fact they were warning it could happen as soon as Trump and Bibi started their little war heard 'round the world. Transporting, refining and distributing take months. And there will be inevitable delays in restarting it all.

I agree Mark. Personally, I don't think it was a "gaffe". I think it was done intentionally, knowing that Smith never met with Willis. Schmitt was lying in session to a witness that was under oath.

As a man, I've learned to be humble in the face of women friends, family and loved ones when it comes to this. It takes a lot for them to tell me these things and when/if they do, I listen, believe and support them.

In the US, we have too many tech folks thinking they're investment gurus and too many investment analysts thinking they're tech gurus.

If by "gaffe" you mean that he exposed his own lie while telling it.
000
Ripplepost @ripplepost.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
This has all the indicators of being intentional deception on Schmitt's part. I don't think it was a mistake. He should be called out for lying in session and in an attempt to slander a sworn witness. He brags about being a prosecutor, he would be held in contempt if he tried this as one.

It's so stupid. All this does is make things more expensive for Americans. MAGA is too effing brainwashed to see it.

Ripplepost @ripplepost.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
AFA I can tell that poster board had nothing at all on it about meeting with someone, or even mentioned who was playing or where. How does a competent human, let alone a "former prosecutor", look at those texts and infer a conspiracy? Schmitt knows he's lying.

What is Kennedy doing in the background?

...followed by Republicans then threatening Smith with indictments.

Throw the book at them. Let them rebuild their reputation and their "life" on their own after facing the consequences of their actions. That's what makes a true, accountable adult.

Still love how Trump's idea of "saving" the beef industry is allow it to be undercut by low grade substitutes from outside the country. It's so very... Trump. He's always been someone that undercuts real quality with a cheap knockoff, and takes the profit for himself.

What is the cost to *anyone* if people open an account but never use it?

Even back then when Trump said that it was bullshit. In the moment. Trump was having all his products made in China at that time. He was just as full of shit then as he is now.

The Americans *who voted for Trump* should not be trusted, I agree! Taking the 2024 results at face value; 77 million Americans voted for him out of approx 250 million eligible voters. That's 30%. I'd say there's probably only a minority MAGA core inside that group. Still, millions of people...

Do these people *ever* get indicted and convicted for this sort of shit? I'm hearing about Republicans, from Trump to county sheriffs, breaking the law every day, but I don't ever seem to see them pay any price for it. In fact, when caught out by a judge they tend to ignore them!

I would agree, mostly. Noting that China has been around a LOT longer than the US though. Not in the same iteration, obviously, but the country is sort of the OG of large, powerful nations. They had a unified empire only a few centuries after Thucydides wrote about Sparta and Athens.

This fracking mogul denies climate change then tells us that the world getting warmer saves lives because less people die from hypothermia... Yeah. I bet his science is real sound on this.

If you're not going to talk to "the other side" then it's no longer news, it's propaganda. They're only a couple steps away from just admitting that. And you better believe they WILL shut down transmission. It's not just about access. It's about control.

The people that shot him and arrested him and incarcerated him, and all their supervisors up to the regional level, should be indicted and arrested. It's the only way this will stop, is if we literally take these thugs off the street.

Way to go DOGE! Looks like Musk got what he wanted and ran for the hills. They never had any intention of saving the US taxpayer a single penny.

Why is it that socialism, the government literally doing what benefits the most citizens, is seen as anti-democratic? I see it as an integral part of democracy (in a republic or otherwise). Anyhoo, thanks for saying this, I think the Dems are pretty much where they've always been, not so the GOP.
