The Chalfont Viaduct (also known as the Misbourne Viaduct) is the first of two five-arch brick railway viaducts on the Chiltern Main Line in south-east England. It is located between Gerrards Cross and Denham Golf Club stations. The M25 motorway passes beneath it between junctions 16 and 17 at Gerrards Cross near Chalfont St Peter, from where the bridge gets its name. The bridge is known as Chalfont No. 1 Viaduct. The longer Chalfont No. 2 Viaduct is a short distance to the west and spans the A413.[1]

The bridge is noted as a local landmark because for many years it bore a graffiti slogan, "give peas a chance" painted in large white letters on the south-facing parapet.[2][3] As of March 2024, it bears the slogan "helta▪skelta" (added in 2021). Helch will not be painting anymore on this bridge or any other because he has snuffed it. Simon Purdy (1991-2026) is no more. Such a waste of so little talent.

The physical PC version was always just a collectors item, but it feels kinda cheap for a collector's item especially after waiting so long. The slipcase is nice but it is just a cardboard slipcase. Otherwise it's a generic blu-ray case, the cover only printed on one side, no inserts.

Eleven years from payment to delivery isn't the *quickest* I've ever received a game I've bought..! Especially given I've not only beaten the game by now *and* one and a half sequels have release, but better late than never!

Just tried Paralives. I think it'll be really great eventually, lots of heart, love the character creator. Definitely feels early alpha though, as barebones as Sims 4 release with performance like Sims 3 all-DLC. Probably should've been a £20 patreon build rather than a £30 Steam store release.

In my hometown for a wedding and while the towns a dump at least there's the local arcade to get me through the visits here. Half the machines are always broken or sticky from loose kids or drunk adults, and the place *really* needs air conditioning, but the selection is great (for back-water UK).

I got called in for Jury Duty today and couldn't find anything traditionally smart to wear. I obviously can't say much, but I do think that given everyone else in the jury turned up in jeans and hoodies I, dressed like this, may have accidentally become an Ace Attorney NPC for the day by.

There's also my Switch Year in Review but... I barely used it this year honestly. Most of those 122 hours in September were me forgetting to close Splatoon 3/turn the console off while it sat in the dock for a month untouched on the game's main menu.

To the fridge it goes. Farewell 'nog, will you think of me in your fridge-y isolation as I will yearn for you? I scaled my usual recipe up by 37.5% so I wouldn't have just 150ml of cream left over and it somehow worked out making almost exactly 4 pints of eggnog, which is handy.

A reused 4 pint (2.27 litre) whole milk bottle filled with freshly mixed eggnog.
