im really enjoying the countdown to avengers doomsday podcast with iman vellani and frank alvarez! nothing better than expert nerds nerding out about the thing they love. i know 0 things about marvel but their passion for the mcu is infectious! super handy recaps, great banter and interesting takes

I saw a something recently that said members of fandoms no longer exist as fans but believe they are stakeholders. They believe that their opinions and feelings have weight and influence. So they engage performances like they’re directing or a part of the production. It’s wild.

Anyways happy may the fourth to all, but especially the maul enjoyers. We really won with this one. Huge round of applause to the cast and crew - yall knocked it out of the park!!! Can’t wait for season 2!

It’s gonna be so interesting to see the kids process their grief. Devon’s already stepping exactly where maul wants her to and im so excited to see her journey play out. But would love to see rylee act as a grounding force against the dark side, if he sticks around.

we all saw daki’s death coming and devon giving in bc of it, but the fact that he stuck around thru basically the whole season and at the end was fighting alongside maul who abandoned him to vader was HEARTBREAKING. He really grew one me. And rip to lawson too

that maul finale did not miss!! Heart was pumping NONSTOP, i think i screamed a little at the freeze frame moment. the inquistor fight in the confined space was relentless AND THEN MR. WHEEZY HIMSELF SHOWED UP. and the DIFFERENCE in fighting styles was STUNNING to watch in animation. #maulshadowlord

Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton is so fantastic. The anchor of the family, endlessly loving, wise and supportive. I love seeing how she shows up for and pushes her kids, and also getting to explore her layers. The show would not be the same without her.

Overall really enjoyed percy jackson s2! The cast feels much more settled into their characters. Dior goodjohn was a scene stealer!! LOVED tyson! The writing had its ups and downs and those dark af night shots still annoy me but it’s a fun world to live in for 8 eps. Looking forward to s3!
