My #pixelart entry for PSICOZINE, an italian fanzine! 124x180px, 22 colors I originally meant to animate it, but I am pc-less atm. Bronzong is one of my faves - I love bronzes from the Yayoi period in general. Recently, I also developed a huge love for the bronze art of Sangxingdui, Guanghan.

$A pixel art of the pokemon Bronzong and Bronzor. The steel/psychic pokemon is embedded in an intricate frame wall, perfectly shaped around him. Two Bronzor are located at its sides. The dark temple is lit by a bright flame contained in a horned urn right below Bronzong. This round brazier is shaped like the headpiece of the legendary pokemon Ting-Lu. The bright flame causes all sorts of reflections and color diffractions: from the warm light to the characteristic shades of oxidated bronze, with purple and cold reflections as well. Upon further inspection, the rich frame carvings reveal many historiated scenes: below bronzong there's a lunette holds stylized figures of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. Above the two Bronzor, embedded in the frame, the silhouettes of Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit. On the higher part of the structure, right above Bronzong, the effigy of Arceus, lit by a cold light.$

Abstract-ish scene from the view of a bridge, featuring water flowing between rocks into a thicket of plants

Swamp girl, she’s got a crown with water plants sticking from it and hair hiding her boobs, she’s smiling shyly and there’s some cattails behind her too

I highly recommend that everyone follow artists. If you do, your feed is filled with art every day. Real, original art. It's bonkers that you can even have this. Amazing. Undeniably cool. And then support those artists, when you can, because that helps the delight continue.

Holy, holy, holy, very happy with these, thank you ten times and ten times more @astrawitch.com Customs did kick my ass though ngl, a whole 12 euro for a print sounds criminal, but occasionally I guess it's fine

i don't usually do this, but since i know many of you won't see this tweet from popular pixel artist @/pixelartjourney (same user on bsky), i recommend being aware they've gone on record saying this and to do with that information what you will

tweet from user pixelartjourney on twitter (same user on bluesky) that says:

A great pixel artist I used to look up to has made some disgusting tweets recently. Please, there is a big difference between not feeling bad for someone, and making fun of and celebrating death of someone with kids and a wife while asking for more. The latter is sickening.

A little late, but here goes day 3 of #swordtember , the prompt wasn't super evocative to me, I didn't really want to do a sword wrapped in mummy bandages, so I did a khopesh instead, a historical egyptian sword, which a mummy could definitely use #pixelart
