Happy 57th to humanity's crowning achievement, the culmination of a program whose technology has allowed the entire modern lifestyle we have. The Apollo 11 landing changed the course of human history and the fact people question it is the largest failure of human education.

2 plushies on a black desk. Plushies are the mascot for the Artemis II NASA mission. The mascot is a moon with a smiley face and a hat with earth pattern on the cap.

I dont normally comment on this shit but just watched a bunch of idiots successfully shut down a gdq stream. It sometimes astounds me the level of absurd righteous fury people achieve for absolutely no reason. I can only hope that one day they can understand that "ethical consumer" is an oxymoron.

It is angry sky week here in the US so it is time for my yearly reminder to you all. Please be considerate of those around if you partake in explosive celebrations. Many, like myself, as well as pets in general, do not react well to explosions they can't see. Be kind as not all wounds are visable.

Due to my childhood I had alot of pride in being financially stable, to the point of discouraging peeps from subbing, throwing bits, etc. Nowadays, I find myself considering setting up things like kofi and throne because stability is a luxury. Wild how a year changes things.

Thought this looked fun. Debated on Bayonetta or Metroid for personal impact and any fromsoft would go in overrated. Scarlet is an absolute joy as a protag and the xenomorphs will never be beaten, especially in Isolation. Twilight Princess is the darker style zelda always should have been.

The first step to streaming consistently is to admit you will not stream consistently and that is ok.

Finished editing the first novel on Monday in a moment 6 years in the making. Now what do I do with it? Wait, I'm supposed to show it to people? What fucking heresy is this? But seriously I'll be looking at the best way to get it out in the world for the 3 people that might want it. #writers #novel

The US Marine Corps' 250th birthday is Nov 10 so the Toys for Tots drive starts early in The Roost with a goal of $250. Care for yourselves 1st but, if you are able, some kids' holidays will be brighter this year if we meet our goal. For my Marine siblings from Tun Tavern to the future, Semper Fi.

I just realized the month is almost over and I didn't make a happy pride post so here goes nothin. Happy Pride peeps. Your existence is the best victory you could have. Instead of posting all the different flags, this is one i created that encapsulates my identities as a polyamorous trans lesbian.

A personal pride flag combining the Polyamorous, Transgender, and Lesbian pride flags.

As the 4th of July gets closer in the US please check who you are using fireworks around. I used to get yard signs from the local VA warning the neighborhood that I dont do well with explosions but they dont give those out anymore around here. Please be aware your fun might just be someones hell.

I find myself in an interesting intersection. I really want to be able to wear the clothes I want. But I also dont want to be that mom that seems to be trying to dress like her teenage daughter. Like my daughter doesnt have a "style" yet, she finds clothes boring, but I still have this inborn fear.

Been out for a bit. Haven't felt stable but I am going to try streaming again this week. Also what have I missed? Happy Pride. Punch Nazis. Ask experts before having opinions. 6 x/y combinations, Punch Nazis, 3 sexes not guaranteed by x/y combos, infinite genders. Punch Nazis one more time. 💜

I know I haven't been streaming regularly lately so sorry about that. These next 2 weeks will probably be more of the same as this is a really hard time of the year for me. I'll be around when I'm feeling stable enough to be social.💜

It's good to know that not only do i need my name change, and all id documents updated. Which will already cost 500-1000 usd to have a shot of getting back into the US after visiting wives but now I also need a burner cell too. 6 months from now I'll need a donkey and 5 dubloons on top of that.

I learned NaNoWriMo is officially dead as they filed bankruptcy. While i wont give my opinion as I know the writing and vtuber communities operate in much the same way. I will say that I am sad to see it go as it did inspire many, including myself, to try something they didnt think they could do.

A judge has ruled that trans servicemembers can continue to serve. Which is as it should be but a line really stood out to me "transgender persons can have the warrior ethos". I would argue that we are warriors already. By the very nature of our existance in this world and these societies...

Estrogen is wild with the emotional swings this week. Yesterday I was kinda a mopey mess for a while there and today I have a feral desire to use both my wives as experimental subjects to prove that I could, in fact, impregnate a transfem. And the entire time ive been craving cold cans of beefaroni.

9: Most underrated part of vtubing? The freedom. Not everyone needs that freedom for the same reason. Expressing the gender I identify with was huge. Others need that freedom for safety reasons, self confidence reasons, or just that they dont want to show fleshy face.

Ive been going back and forth about streaming on adult platforms, not because I want to make lewder content (although it is a long term goal to have the confidence to do that) but only because I want to stream my TCG Card shop and im not allowed to do that on twitch.

120

Rila @rilaraven.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

8: Want to stream but havent? A main goal was to be able to do some educational content. I did one stream but I didn't really like how it turned out so I stopped in the middle of making the 2nd one. I want to do one on polyamory next to help others understand and help with misinformation.

Rila @rilaraven.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

7: Dream collab and why. I dont really have one. I dont think I have the personality to hold a one on one collab. However, I do want to run dnd sessions for invited groups on stream at some point. I had a literal dream once of running a session for the vshojo crew even though I know none of them.

Ah yes. I am a victim of that thoroughly trans urge to exist... if that makes you unhappy then fuck off. Once you get to where you fucked off to, fuck off again. Then continue to fuck off until you have fucked off the whole way back to me. Then fuck off one more time so I can feel better about it.
