Last summer we travelled across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands without any connection problems. My wife worked on her laptop as I drove. This became near impossible in the UK with the internet dropping out frequently and bumpy rough roads. UK lags far behind with connectivity

The message should be..... 1. Insulate the house well first 2. Install heat pump 3. Install solar panels to reduce running costs even further. We have no problems living in Finland with long cold short day winters, BUT the houses are well insulated. Notably even houses in Lapland have solar panels.

Spend all your working life with a retirement age of 65. Then it gets pushed up to 66 and now age 64, am informed it's going up to 67. It's easy to see how benefits costs are going to increase with more elderly folks physically unable to do the jobs they once did and find an easier alternative.
