I am a huge fan of the Tik-Tok animator, Punky Doodles. A few years ago I took 12 or so of his nonsensical spells and turned them into “real” 5E spells. I have started converting them to Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG and Daggerheart because really, who doesn’t want Testicular Torsion in their arsenal?

Carl and Donut are level 6 or 7 at the beginning of the 2nd floor. 13th at the beginning of the 3rd. Carl is 24 and Donut is 39 at the start of floor 4. Carl is 38 and Donut is 32 at the start of 5. The book says PCs gain a level every 2 hours of play, so Floor 1 should last about 3 sessions.

Charlie Kirk died one year ago. I put up a meme that didn’t glorify his murder but said “some people make the world better by leaving it”. It cost me a good friend. I look at the attempts of the right to exploit his murder & I have to wonder: why do I have to mourn him harder than “his” people?

Ran session zero of Dungeon Crawler Carl tonite. They went into the dungeon: 1) just in only his underwear 2) winter coat and a snowshovel 3) regular clothes and a smelly gym bag (underwear guy’s only hope for clothes) 4) nurse scrubs and a backpack 5) TBD 13 yr old paperboy Sudden amputee :D
