Been floundering on what language to take a stab at. I feel like i should get into Arabic or Greek, but am not sure which. Arabic is more widely used, but Greek is easier to read. Could try both? Option paralysis is real.

I like learning languages and set the goal to read the Hobbit in every language I have interest in (when a translation exists). Last night I ordered a Greek copy to add to the collection 😄 Wish translations were easier to find in the US, but it is what it is.

The Hobbit in Japanese, Arabic, Finnish, Ukrainian, Spanish, German, Russian, French, and English in that order.

Threads is talking about writing groups again and I'm reminded if the time I posted a three page chapter on discord for feedback and this one person couldn't figure out that i was describing a room without anyone in it and then having someone enter it. Nobody else had this issue lol #writing

Was thinking of adopting this baby kitty. If I do, I'll likely name it Pico de Gato or Pico for short. #catsofthreads

Need to reread what i wrote previously so i can remember where i was and my voice. Decided to load the file onto my phone so i could be lazy and productive at the same time. Success

So, any of you creatives... have you ever had an idea for a name pop into your head that you thought sounded cool, but thought you should google it first? Throwback to me almost calling a character Basura lol

I feel like I've been working on this story forever. But no. Only since 2021 and even then it's only been taking me so long because i have to take such long breaks from it for things like going back to school and moving.

I swear that the only thing keeping me from adventure is the fact that I'm a bit of a coward. But then i remember that i bungee jumped knowing full well that I'm afraid of heights. It's kinda a toss up i guess

Asked in a few places if deadname as a term was specific to the trans experience. General consensus was no, but it has a specific feel to it. Another ace friend pointed out that I don't really vibe as cis anyway lol. Apparently I'm somewhere between cassgender and demi girl.

1st MC lives to be over 130 years old so maybe would want to go back in time to see people she lost. 2nd MC would maybe like to go back to explore and learn things that have been lost. #tbbchat
