Are people legit getting rejection emails/letters for their Wildcard Club application? I didn't even realize it. Maybe they forgot to send mine. Or maybe they didn't even review mine at all, lol. Rejection is nothing new to me, tho. I was grateful to be able to try out at all.

Nothing boils my blood more than prior authorizations delaying care. A procedure for a Pt of mine that should've been scheduled a week ago has been pushed back because of this middleman BS. This is despite the insurance being HMO-POS (Point of Service) LOOKING AT YOU UHC.

My wife & I paid essentially double the amount for 1Gbps & an unlimited data package when Spectrum only charges us $90 for 2Gbps, unlimited data included. Spectrum has issues but goddamn did Cox have a stranglehold being the only game in town in my neck of the woods.

25yrs ago today, I was 10 when the optimism of the 90's was shattered. I didn't really understand then. Interconnected chains of human choices, environmental shifts, & cause/effect relationships led to the loss & trauma of countless lives over 25yrs. Choices that haunt us still to this day.

I'm the only outpatient RN in my DNP program. It kinda reflects the state of US Healthcare. A lot of our resources are poured into the hospitals. When we focus on being more reactive than proactive, it reflects how care is triaged. Unfortunately, prevention doesn't net profit.

One of our required readings for this semester is "Everything is Tuberculosis". In the first few chapters I've read, it's eye-opening how TB has influenced culture, politics, & healthcare throughout history. All wrapped around a personal story that countless still live with to this day.
