a good thing about revisiting drk with the jp translation in mind (and in front of my eyes) is it's helping me recontextualize how i want to characterize cicerio, and how i want him to develop going forward

the further i go through the last big chunk of base stormblood the more i realize that i may very well just walk into ala mhigo without being able to find a good time to unlock the lvl 70 mnk skill brotherhood, and that. may be a problem

A bear-y grisly celebration is on its way. 🐻 All Saints' Wake returns to FFXIV on Thursday, October 15! 👻 sqex.to/p39ox

Image is the key illustration for the All Saints' Wake 2026 event. A large figure in a full-body bear costume with exaggerated stitching and button embellishments looms ominously in the back with its mouth open wide and tongue sticking out. They are holding a pipe in one hand and green smoke emanates from around their head. In front of them to the left is Leofard, who is looking up at the bear and grinning while shrugging his shoulders. To the right Cait Sith looks back at the bear figure with a scared expression, front paws sticking out and tail raised in fear. The background of the illustration is decorated with carved pumpkins and small ghosts.

ok ok ok ok ok i'll stop talking about beatbreak on my wolblog (.....for this week) but i got one more in me if i was smart and cool and NOT tied to a chair writing an 49-episode anime for a tv network, the second last episode would've already had our heroes and their friends defeat the final boss

digimon beatbreak may not be based (something something high highs and low lows) but it is, funnily enough, woke

DONALD DUCK 🤝 EMET-SELCH • Government official • Incredibly powerful mage • Bitchy • Constantly negging the hero • Makes a show of not wanting to engage in shenanigans but will wind up engaging anyway • Cares so much more than they will ever admit • Isn't going to heal you
