Artist! Quote with your gloomy art! 🐦‍⬛

One day we were driving along a highway near the Alps. I relly wanted to capture that foliage feel and epic mountains. I almost feel that freshness in the air near mountains. #alps #mountains #2dart #landscape #study

Work in progress. I’ve already put 19 hours of work into this project. But I’ve got the core functionality and design done. Now I just need to polish it up and add some nice little background details. I might also showcase a few specific elements in close-up. #artwip #conceptart #citydesign

Here the lighting was the key to the design of this undeground city. Yes, some rocky shapes helped, but the atmosphere was the main turning point for this piece. #2dart #illustration #landscape #undergroundcity #cities #design

Took two reference pics and made it into one chill piece. Not really a study. I just wanted to get carried away with the process. #sunsetart #artprocess #art #illustratiuon #landscape #chill

Studies of The Double Life of Veronique movie. I am starting to make more movie studies. Quantity over quality. #artstudies #doublelifeofveronique #moviestudies #movies #digitalaart

Movie shots studies. These are actually really good way to train composition, colour and lighting. Definitely would paint more of these studies. (still no clue from where did the refs come, sorry) #art #cinema #digitalart #studies

I also really want to bring this project to a proper finish. For now, it’s just a bunch of rough sketches. I’m thinking of creating either a steampunk-style Noah’s Ark, or flying city capable of mining ore, or perhaps something else #steampunk #personalartproject #floatingcity

This idea was inspired by a house from Alteberg, city in Germany. I wanted to step away from fantasy and do something involving steel for a change. #conceptart #houseidea #2dart #architecturedesign #industrialstyle

Super bumped out about my skill level. I guess it’s through crises like this that you actually improve—I dunno. Anyway, I’m doing studies based on movie shots: Pride and Prejudice and Robin Hood (2010). #movies #digitalart #artstudies

This piece is for virtual plein air challange by @octopunish_art I really enjoyed the process. I looked forward to returning to every session. I even managed to express something that was weighing on my soul. #челленджпленер #pleinair #digitalart #francearchitecture #artprocess

Just a little study. It’s sort of an exercise, but I came up with the composition myself. Feeling reeally motivated to learn to paint/draw. No matter the difficulties. Ego, finances. It's all part of the art journey. Thank you for beeing here! #artprocess #mountains #art #digitalart

Thank you for kind words! There was a lot of ego in the beginning. It was holding me back to actually start to learn this craft.

In the meantime, I’ll show you where I started my journey as a digital artist—mostly just to encourage myself. To remind myself that progress is real. These pieces date back to around 2008. At that point, I was just barely beginning to get the hang of Photoshop. #artprogress #digitalart

Another process behind the studies.

Photo study and the process. It was interesting to experiment with the workflow. I went back to the good old method of line sketching. As I recall—if I remember correctly—I tried to do everything on a single layer here. #process #artprocess #digitalart #study #photostudy #natureart #nature

Wow! Thank you! I hadn't thought about this piece from that perspective!

And the finished piece. Let's see what is best to show first, image or a clip.

The process is a bit chaotic. I wanted to make a study, but went deeper and deeper with thoughts if thats was true, how practical it could be and other art fundamentals. Tricky part was to make the composition work. But it turned out alright. #process #mountains #city #landscape #digitalart
