He can only turn it around if he drops McGregor like a stone. The only times MON has not played McGregor, he made excuses for him, like he was ill or had a bug. Callum McGregor is no longer good enough for Celtic or indeed any side in the SPFL. He would even look effeminate in the women's team.

Brown was a captain and led by example. He never hid or shat out of tackles. McGregor on the other hand has been a passenger his full career at Celtic and a fucking embarrassment to the armband.

Scott Brown still performed at the end of his career and actually carried McGregor.

He can play until he is 45 doing what he does. Some of his passes in that 1st half were criminal. He just won't put his foot on the ball and think about other options. McGregor is the worst Celtic captain in my lifetime, even surpassing Lennon for shiteness.

I dont mind McCowan starting. He did well when he came on Thursday, making decent progressive passes. He made one dodgy pass Enfield, which will have pleased his haters, but at least he will get stuck in, unlike our cowardly captain, who will again pass the buck today.

McGregor hid behind someone all night as he doesnt want the ball, whilst facing our goal, as he no longer has the ability / confidence to take the ball in and turn to get us up the pitch. He prefers the defenders having the ball around our box until one of them pings the perfect out ball.

Callum McGregor has to be the first to go. Nothing will improve until he is out of the picture. Our team selections and shape seem solely to be able to accommodate McGregor and have players cover for his many limitations. He gives us 90 minutes of negative, cowardly passing the buck every match.

Forrest should be nowhere near our team. He did really well to get in behind the RB on a number of occasions, but not once did he play a quality ball into the box, with his left foot. This makes him easy to play against, as you just need to show him outside & not let him cut inside on his right peg.
