iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Anyone else remember the crowdsourced music video contest for The Dark Side of the Moon's 50th anniversary, and how everyone got mad at the winner for Any Colour You Like because it was AI-generated and frankly lazy?

Bluesky slander is simultaneously overdone and unoriginal, yet still relevant and valid. I guess I just wish for someone somewhere to actually fix the problems rather than just sit down and whine.

I don't get Bluesky Moderation's use of the labels.

Fuck it I'll add my domain to this account again

000

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 20/02/2025

Do I just block everyone that posts politics to make the discovery feeds bearable... The problem is, it's usually not the same accounts, it's always another nobody. PS: letting the poster define the content warning themselves could've helped, ya know...

Now that I think about it I rarely don't use the default wallpapers on my things.

I find it funny how Mastodon is known for being "NO FUN ALLOWED" by the average, but Bluesky's feeds aren't much better! No one has fun anyway!

I kind of wish we had drafts on here just because it would be funny to me to go back and look at all the rants I carefully typed out but didn't send

I have to soften my stance against Bluesky and eventually clutter up my DNS to add my domain...

Vinyl is infuriating, I think "ah hey I'll just put on this album" and then I can't not hear the fact it's juuust too slow and now here I am fiddling with speed adjustments for half an hour

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 16/02/2025

I would post here but I have no earthly idea what to say.

is Bluesky a Twitter revival

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 21/01/2025

Oh good the main bsky app now has doomscrolling built in

101

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 03/01/2025

Dunno when Bluesky will have an actually usable app for Android.

I'll have to follow more people here because the discovery feeds are just putrid

100

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 13/12/2024

I go on the Bluesky discovery feeds for not even 10 seconds and already see literal porn. And then my friends gaslight me that this platform is so much better because you can discover people!

000

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 08/12/2024

There should be some "StreetPass" browser extension for Bluesky (and the Fediverse, actually) that, while you browse the Web, if the current website links to a bsky profile, it pops up and says "Hey this website has this account associated, wanna follow them?"

000

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 08/12/2024

I'd have to daily drive this platform for a while to really start "understanding" what makes bsky tick.

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 10/05/2024

this platform has potential if I can find people who are human beings that just want to talk about their personal interests and not just the latest trendy clique or political ideology/belief

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 14/01/2024

Time to check out the super cool and sick centralized social network called Bluesky

000

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 01/10/2023

So there are no decent Android apps for this platform. That's great.

1337x isn't safe anymore either. media is gonna be safe wherever you get it from, so use TPB/1337x if all you do is movies and TV, but just avoid all public sources for games/software, the risk isn't worth it. if you pirate games that often, put the effort to get into private trackers.

Were I to find the right discover feeds that do not heavily emphasize on very polarizing or biased politics, beliefs, ideologies, etc., then I could actually see myself coming back to this platform. I don't care about any of that; I'm not here to be engaged by enragement.

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 28/09/2023

Finally, Bluesky! A platform where all artists can be free to post whatever art they may desire to post, regardless of its mature implications, and be heard to the proper people...

And yet, here is Bluesky, deciding for its users that do not desire to confirm their age, hiding said content that, may I reiterate, can be used in artistic forms.

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 27/09/2023

For once Bluesky doesn't look like shit, and I'm literally just reading the feeds of, like, 2 people that I follow. Whoever said it was great for discovery omitted lots of things, I'm certain THAT'S where my disgruntlement comes from.

100

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 21/09/2023

My biggest problem on this platform is that there's no one interesting for me to follow. Bluesky keeps feeding me more and more of the same old "anti AI", "trans people are better", "fuck Twitter lol haha" extremism and that's all I see. The Fediverse? Timeline with all the recent posts; your call.

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 21/09/2023

Pourquoi est-ce que j'ai l'impression qu'il y a plus de paix sur cette plateforme pour les francophones que les anglophones? Depuis quand?

000

atlas_core @rightmouse.click · 21/09/2023

I must ask, did we need yet another microblogging alternative purposefully incompatible with preexisting ones that have already implemented a mature federation protocol?
