This is a little confusing, but here's my general rule of thumb regarding me and my OC: If I'm referring to myself, I'm Rift. If I'm referring to the fictional character that represents me online, that's Rifter. Don't get these two confused, or else you will get a bad day(not fully guaranteed).

My bksy feed has been giving me artists who also draw with a slightly chunky, non anti-aliased brush. I dunno if it somehow recognizes the style of my recent works and giving me artists with similar styles, or if it's just a coincidence, but it's funny.

Saw my9albums float around, so I figure I make my own image. There's a bunch of albums I've listened to, but I think these are the albums that shaped my music tastes during my youth, not in any order.

Nine albums that shaped my musical tastes in my youth, made using My9Albums. From top to bottom, left to right:
Death Grips - Exmilitary
Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
Aphex Twin - Drukqs
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Bjork - Homogenic
Unkle - Psyence Fiction
Portishead - Dummy
Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Friends, the time is upon us. Before the Kremling Kronology enters an era of innovative 3D games, we need to check out an innovative 3D show. Noon pacific/3:00 eastern. Tomorrow. www.twitch.tv/altermentality Four to five hours of as much of season 1 as we can get through. 🍌 slamma.

Group artwork of characters from the DKC show that actually goes kinda hard. Good Kremling representation and also Bluster isn't here, get rekt Bluster

A bunch of Ethers #ocs

A collage of artwork of Ether. From left to right, top to bottom:
Ether sitting in front of her computer looking up the Wikipedia article for Ethereum, and declares "Wow, that's stupid." once she read about it.
Ether lying on the floor trying to look innocent.
Ether with a toothy grin; her left arm appears to be closer to our view.
Ether laughing wildly. This is based on a piece of promo art from Sonic Adventure.
Ether and Rifter playing leap frog; Rifter is crouching down so Ether can hop over him.

greye is a funny character, being modeled after a mascot character of sorts and thus giving away the general expectation that she'd be the same ever helpful, silent sweetheart then she (silently) says the most sarcastic jab you've ever heard (or read) and realize, no, that is greye

I find it interesting how polish is desirable in games, film, etc., but in the realm of music a lesser amount of polish is itself very appealing to a lot of people. I know I like it when a song sounds like scraping metal in a toolshed.

Kourtney in her miner outfit making the following poses: praying nervously, catching some of the small colorful ice cubes from the Freezer Layer (and elsewhere), pointing in consternation, and reacting with such shocked joy that her glasses fly off.

#art cel drawing; traditional work Used this to practice my brushwork and colored pencils

A rendition of the third panel in the quoted post's comic.
Flo and Chloe approach each other, surprised by their polar opposite outfits.
Flo wears a leather jacket and big belt, with her hair obscuring her eyes, the way Chloe's usually does.
And Chloe wears a propeller hat with a yellow shirt that says "FUN!"

A photo showing the cel, background, and sketch separately.

Y'know that trope of a woman getting tied to train tracks and is about to get run over, but then a cowboy or whoever saves her before it's too late? Imagine if a woman did get run over by a train, and it was graphic and fucked up and made a lot of people upset. Has that ever happened in fiction?

Yoshi's Island DS feels like the video game equivalent of a direct-to-dvd sequel. I'm quite fond of the game for what it is, it was my first Yoshi game back in my preteens. But it does feel kind of cheap compared to the original.

I love the idea that Metroid: Ravenous takes place on the moon, because the planet itself is a gas giant.

Image: a background from the Nintendo store page for Metroid: Ravenous. It depicts an outer space scene - the moon serves as the game's main setting, and it's next to a planet that appears to be made of gas.
