RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Wasn't expecting to hear Gnod on BBC radio, tonight. No complaints there. 011
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I got rejected first time around. Argued my case. Dealt with two absolute bawbag gatekeepers, but my argument was strong enough to persuade other admins to accept me. (I'm playing doom/drone, with lighter bits) 211
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Ruprecht's tire-swing in the background kills me every time. 010
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Saw HoF at ATG tecebtly and not only were they KILLER, Pike was playing some surprisingly slow and low riffs twice during the performance - maybe reading too far into it, but felt like a statement. 000
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 10/09/2026I went to a lovely little mexican place in Peckham Rye a few weeks ago. Nice dishes, unpretentious. More of a hangout vibe than anything, but tasty food - named TAQUIZA. Area probs busy, of course. 100

RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Not one for following trending topics, but, apparently, it's Black Cat Appreciation Day - and my girl is a beauty. Behold, Fifi #blackcat 010
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Rashomon is my fav, and much shorter. I've got a lot of time for Sanjuro, and High & Low, too. So many bangers. 010
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Hot take for the day - Indie cinemas using one-line, bad joke Letterboxd reviews to plug their movie screenings only encourage the worst people to show up. 000
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Yeah, this never happened. Metallers would never invite average chuds to listen to their superior music in public. We don't get called Gatekeepers for nothing, you know, and we definitely don't want to attract attention. 100
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Yeah, i just stop in my tracks now. Easy way to expose their behaviour. 001

RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Without Kurt Russell, this will be redundant. Snyder has proven he can do a decent remake, but like Dawn Of The Dead, it would be Escape From New York in name only. 000

RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 13/05/2026I've recorded another MERRIN album. Four tracks. Heavy ambience. Deep B-Movie vibes. It sounds very, very cool. No idea when we’ll be able to release it. That’s tomorrow’s problem. But for now: it exists. It’s finished. #dronemusic #dronedoom #musicstudıo 000
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 13/05/2026Career politicians - they only care about themselves, serving their own conflated egos is the No.1 priority. Like you say, what a waste. Hope I'm proven wrong, of course. 100

RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 22/12/2025It's a weird trailer in general. Watching with the sound off and it feels like a lot of shaky shots and scenes that don't fit well together. Disjointed by design - but for what reason is anyone's guess. Still looks epic, tho. 120
RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 19/11/2025As good as TCM looks these days, a battered, old, grimy VHS is still the best way to experience it. 130

RIFF Underground @riffunderground.bsky.social · 23/09/2025OMO - Arctangent 2025 Sonically in line with Burning Witch or early Cathedral, with a buckfast gulping clergy-man rubbing his nuts while spouting hellish sermons for the end of the world.
