A polite smile was returned. "You seem parched...and given the weather, I did not wish for one in my vicinity to succumb to the heat."

A classic Mondstadt fairytale... He had not indulged much into the culture of the human establishment of Mondstadt... He had only heard rumours...and small tales from the few that journey to Fontaine for diplomatic relations. --

Someone important... He supposed he would be considered important in Fontaine...it was not something he would call himself though it was objectively true. Odd, that. "You can say that," he responded, smiling politely. "I am the Chief Justice of Fontaine, Neuvillette." --

“Mister Kaveh…” The Perlot trial was as clear as day for the Dragon Sovereign. He had been witness to the various testimonies that contained emotional intensities that were quite…typical of these types of cases. Murders were never…easy to observe. --

A book? Ah....yes. He'd found himself in a library of sorts. Mondstadt had many notable buildings, and perhaps he'd wandered too far from his meeting place with the Acting Grandmaster. "No, I am not..." He answered, raising a hand to gesture otherwise. His smile was polite and apologetic. --

At the shift in tone and gravity of the conversation, Neuvillette began to attend to the architect’s facial features more. His body language. It all seemed to close alongside the sharing of his story, drawing a familiar pang of ‘sadness’ to his chest. --

A quick blink from the Sovereign was delivered. He had not intended to panic the stranger. Perhaps he had caused an inconvenience by requesting something different.....ahh......he needed to be more careful next time. The porcelain cup was received between his gloved hands, a grateful smile --

The Iudex rested his hands over his cane, chuckling lightly. “I hope those trials were informative or engaging to you, Mister Kaveh. It is how the citizens of Fontaine engage with our justice system….though, having said that, I may be assuming you were born here in Sumeru City, --

The Sovereign turned, seeking out the new presence. It was a stranger in flowing clothes. It reminded him of the wind, and yet, there was something about him that called upon something more condensed. "Hello there," he greeted. The stranger seemed a bit tentative. --

Another gift. The Iudex had found himself traveling through Sumeru City as another attempt to 'relax'. Though, if nothing else, it was merely a desire to expand his understanding of the waters of Teyvat. The Dendro Archon had been very accommodating and showed him much of her city. --

"Mister Daher," greeted the Iudex, returning the handshake. It was one shared between gentlemen, polite, yet firm; though for the Dragon Sovereign, he had to be careful with strength, and so there was a softness to it. “You may call me Neuvillette. I am the Chief Justice of Fontaine.” --
