Was in Chicago today. The Trump Tower is trying to lease riverwalk retail spaces. I don't think a single one is being leased. Wonder why? ;)

My daughter, who went on to play D1 college ball, was 9yo when the Bulls were at the height of their championship runs. She entered a co-ed skills contest that had her on the United Center floor before the game. She was one of 3 girls that qualified for the finals. But she had an off shooting... 1/2

My first Mother's Day without my mom, born in 1926. She was a joyful woman with a beautiful French accent. A member of the French Resistance as a teenager who crafted an extraordinarily normal life in America after the trauma of WWII. Strongest woman I will ever know.

My mom also had that wish, but didn't make it. She passed in June about three weeks shy of her 99th birthday. She was a member of the French Resistance as a teenager. She often said Trump reminded her of Hitler. That, and she would literally shiver whenever she saw Stephen Miller on TV.

How the heck can the job numbers for May and June be this far off the mark initially? Instead of a combined 293,000 originally reported, the actual combined number was just 35,000 jobs? So they were "only" off by 78%. Data (and stock market) manipulation if I've ever seen it.
