The version of record is now out in eLife! Across thousands of flies from 90 genetic backgrounds, we find that learning amplifies behavioural individuality, even among genetically identical flies raised and tested under identical conditions.

Beyond genotype × environment interactions, which can be shared and identical across individuals, learning from uniquely individual experiences further defines and diversifies individual behaviour.
