Mercedes is for the people! Including myself, I saw her signing autographs, taking photos, and giving many of the fans her time. It was a pleasure, again, thank you an unreal experience AEW and of course The CEO @aewontv.bsky.social #mercedesmone #aew #allelitewrestling

Recently got the Go Nagai “Devilman Crybaby” soundtrack signed by Akira Futo himself, Griffin Burns. Such a cool piece, it’s an ash & blood red vinyl. He even accented his signature in red #anime #devilman #devilmancrybaby #gonagai #manga #netflix

I’ve been watching Doctor Who Christmas Specials since my first year of college, and 2024 is no exception. At Comic-Con I was lucky enough to meet Ncuti and tell him how much it meant to finally have a doctor that “looked like me” #bbc #DoctorWho #ncutigatwa #christmas

Today is his birthday and should be a day of celebration. Candyman was one of the first horror films I saw, and I believe the only one my mom had on vhs. Happy Birthday and thank you Tony Todd for making me fall in love with the horror genre #TonyTodd #Candyman #FinalDestination

Really hoping in 2025 we get an official Record Store Day release for 2015’s Album About Nothing by Wale. I was lucky enough to get the mixtape on vinyl signed earlier this year #wale #seinfeld #albumaboutnothing #moreaboutnothing #recordstoreday #rsd

I ordered the Star Wars Jedi Survival vinyl to get signed by Cameron Monoghan, but the shipping got delayed and it didn’t arrive in time. On the bright side he did sign my Galaxy’s Edge BD-1 from the Droid Depot at Disneyworld #starwars #jedi #jedisurvivor #disneyland #calkestis

I was able to get 2/3 albums that were on my Record Store Day wishlist. Grabbed Czarface & Ghostface Killah of Wu Tang Clan. The MF DOOM release was all that I missed. Also is it just me, or are the retail prices for these joints getting kinda high? #rsd #recordstoreday #czarface #ghostfacekillah

AEW “Full Gear” is just around the coroner, what predictions do you guys have? Or is there anything you’re specifically hoping to see?

I miss the reach twitter has, you know such as posting upcoming events like concerts, signings, conventions etc., but the community on here is a lot nicer and more welcoming

With the Black Friday 2024 “Record Store Day” just around the corner I created a feed to post about what releases you’re looking forward to, which RSD vinyls you’ve picked up in prior years, and discuss any music news (new artists, tours, etc.)

RJ @rickymarlowe.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Just created a new feed/group all about vinyls and new music. Trying to grow a community here! Kid Cudi has always been cooking when it comes to vinyl. The album artwork & variety of editions for each of his drops! He dropped that set with Travis Scott that I really wanted to complete!

I’m hoping we get a rerelease of “YSIV” by Logic during Record Store Day 2025. As of right now, it’s the only vinyl I’m missing. I have everything he’s released in the last decade, autographed, including Ultra 85. #recordstoreday #logic #bobbyboyrecords #bobbytarantino #ultra85 #nopressure

Oh yes! Those are huge. The rumor is that this is Stings farewell tour. He’s gonna go into proper retirement. He’s scheduled for a few signings here in California and they all have it listed as what could be his final appearance for a long time

100

RJ @rickymarlowe.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

You know I used to be bummed about the social media spoilers with NJPW, but now I’m kind of okay with it. Its not the easiest to just tune into, so sometimes the clips are the only way for me to keep track

000

RJ @rickymarlowe.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

Aw man that’s such a bummer. Hopefully they reschedule or get someone else of equal interest. I met Swerve a few times, most recently a San Diego Comic Con. I was happy seeing AEW get a big platform such as that. Them being pared with DC Comics was good for new eyes.

200

RJ @rickymarlowe.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

@billythiex.bsky.social NJPW does NOT make it easy. Merch can be difficult to find, and good stuff only being available in Japan, the TOKONShop is about 1/3 of the merch and the quality is drastically lower tbh. And don’t get me started on how fast they copyright shared clips, which hurts engagement

100

RJ @rickymarlowe.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

Thank you so much. It started out somber because the first portion was the moment of silence & salute. However it was such a memorable moment. I had been very reluctant to drag my dates to come watch wrestling stuff but she was super open to it and that was a big part of what made me fall for her.
