I’m looking for fellow fans of meditation who can recommend some guided meditations with a guide who uses a normal voice not the dreaded meditation voice. It’s not quite as bad as poetry voice buts it’s close.

Ann Lowe designed one of the most famous dresses in American history. Jacqueline Kennedy’s wedding dress. For years, many people admired her work without ever knowing her name. History remembered the dress. It’s time we remembered the designer. #SheShed

From the comments: "Without Doc Lewis, the Depression would have been a way bleaker and darker time than it was. Later, they called him "corny," but that corn lifted up very many who needed it. For my money, it is one of the best of such renditions. Lots-o-fun!)" More: archive.org/details/TedL...

Great album by the late Yvonne Fair. She sang with James Brown's band (and had a kid with James) and with Chuck Jackson. She opened for The O'Jays, The Temptations, The Jacksons, Stevie, and Marvin. It's a shame this is her only album. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yvonne_...

Dude picks up a Booker T Xmas record, some Lucinda (he did a co-write on her new album), a couple other things, and a record by free jazz drummer/composer Milford Graves, which I'm too old to listen to, but the story he tells about Graves and one of the ways he composes is fascinating.
