While it is great that the voice actors congratulated each other on their respective roles, I still find it frustrating and saddening that they may not be able to work together.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I still firmly believe that all voice actors, both Union and Non-Union, should work together instead of this exclusivity approach as I find that method brings division within the voice acting community.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

As for Crunchyroll, they should not pass on Union talent, especially the newcomers and veterans in LA and NYC, as they would be great additions to their English dub lineups and work alongside their counterparts in Dallas and Houston.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Despite my constant criticism with Bang Zoom, VSI and the other Union-back LA Studios for not bringing in more Non-Union talent, I will still support them as these companies should dub ALL of Crunchyroll’s licensed series.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

It is great that @bangzoomstudios.com and #TheVSIGroup are working on some titles at Crunchyroll, but it would be awesome if some Non-Union VAs from Dallas and Houston work with their LA counterparts on their dubs. I do not know when that will ever happen.

100

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

With that said, I am still disappointed with the dub announcements as it is still the same damn approach: exclusivity to local talent only, such as Union VAs only and Non-Union VAs only.

After looking at the 2026 Anime Autumn lineup for @crunchyroll.com @netflix.com #DisneyPlus #Hulu #SentaiFilmworks and #PrimeVideo, it is mainly sequels and some new titles for me from Crunchyroll and Netflix. I will post my selections shortly here.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Again, just like Overgeared and Reborn as a Space Mercanery, it would have been awesome if some Union voice actors from Los Angeles and NYC joined the cast for this one and the others. Well, @crunchyroll.com? 😡

000

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

We know that this is done by @crunchyroll.com at their Union-busting dubbing studios. I wonder who got casted, though.

Ricky (リカルド) 🇺🇸🇨🇱🇳🇮🇧🇴 @ricklargaespada85.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I know it is produced by a Union-backed LA studio. Which one is it? It would have been awesome if some Non-Union voice actors from Dallas and Houston joined the cast.

My other suggestions would be Studio Nano, KochaSound, Sound Cadence Studios or OkraTron5000. These studios have been doing great work. It would be unwise to ignore them. What do you say, Aniplex?

Now here is my take: it would be great if Bang Zoom, or Pixelogic Media, would bring in Non-Union voice actors from Dallas and Houston to work together with their Union counterparts in Los Angeles. I still believe that both Union and Non-Union voices should work together.

I wonder who will dub the film. I have a feeling that Bang Zoom! Studios or Pixelogic Media may produce the English dub. If so, then good! Crunchyroll’s In-House Studios should not dub this film until they go Union.
