For this 268th episode of Air-Conditioned, I figured I’d visit the 60s folk era when a lot of great artists produced inspiring music that has stood the test of time. For this Hootenanny, we have Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, The Byrds, Malvina Reynolds, Fred Neil, and Peter, Paul & Mary. 1/3

When I see McConnell and trump's deteriorating conditions and witness Mike Johnson running Congress like it is a barely functioning ghost house, I'm reminded of the our Leader’s Nose scene, from Woody Allen's slapstick futuristic 1973 comedy Sleeper. I wish it were funny. 1/3

When I was a boy in Memphis, TN, I loved the summer evenings when massive distant thunderstorms put on a light show. We were told it was “heat lightning,” only to learn the storm was simply too far away for the thunder to reach us. Years later, I’m still filled with awe at these visual spectacles.
