One of my hobbies in retirement is gardening. I have some small raised beds to plant some tomatoes that I start from seed and tend to as they grow. It’s an absolute joy to make a sandwich with the first ripe tomato of the season. Salt, pepper, and Duke’s mayo on fresh Italian bread. DELICIOUS!

I’m an avid reader, generally favoring mystery, thriller and action fiction. Connelly, Sandford, Baldacci, among others are my go to for enjoyment. Occasionally I’ll journey outside my comfort zone and find a true classic (Lonesome Dove comes to mind). My first read of 2026 was an absolute joy!
