I was trying to work out what the yellow insect in the third photo was - perhaps back end of a ladybird I didn't know, an oddly contorted hornet? It wasn't until I clicked on the photo I worked it out 🤣🤣

This was a really useful webinar. It has given me some ideas for more sustainable and ethical observation, collection, and recording. Thanks to everyone involved.

Wow! If this is the truth, or at least closer to the truth than what is in the books, then I want my money back for the three books I have bought and enjoyed. This undermines everything Winn/Walker has written 😒

Co-operatives have long helped to rebuild communities following conflict – but there's more they can do. Ask your MP to write to the new International Development Minister and recognise the power of co-operation in building a more peaceful world. party.coop/campaign/pea...

“I don’t think nature is the enemy of growth, but it is the enemy of greed.” Well said @danicapriest.bsky.social on R4 ‘Antisocial’ 👍

Nature is not a blocker to growth. The UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves has claimed that 'The balance has gone too far in the direction of always protecting every bat and every newt.' But how can this statement be true when the UK is one of the most nature depleted countries in the world?🌍

A thriving natural world is the foundation of economic growth and vital for health and wellbeing. Language that pits these against each other is unhelpful and deeply concerning.

I disagree with her on many things and am not sad to see her rescind the Labour whip. But on this matter she had a valid point imo.
