If we get the mooted deals in/out I think overall the squad has more quality, is younger, better balanced, and more progressive in playing style than LY. Pending impact of Ndiaye going and with a distinct (and ongoing) lack of depth in FBs. Still work to do but it’s far from a terrible window.

Shouldn’t just be bookshops. Non chain food and drink, clothing, hardware, butchers, grocers, charities should all be reduced. Make Bookies, NailBars, chains with over XX stores, Sweet shops and Vape shops pay more. Would bring high streets back to life with independent, family owned shops.

Excellent haul from the local carboot/ antique shops in Molesey. Two old Victor Annuals for £2. One of the few things I collect. A cap Badge from the LIverpool Scottish - my Grandad’s Battalion - for £10. And an Art Deco Clock with very satisfying tick and chime for £15. Bargains all round.

Norgaard feels like a sensible, low cost switch for Gueye. Better on the ball, more progressive. More able to set a tempo for the team.. Possibly less of a a shield for the back four but less of an issue if Centre backs are Branthwaite/O’Brien.
