A spirited Sunday from The Sifaka, a leaping tree lemur with long silky fur found in coastal forests of Madagascar. They eat leaves, flowers, and fruits. Often viewed as “sacred sun worshippers.” This traditional view very likely stems from the animals’ curious habit of basking in the sun.

Magical Monday from the Malayan Tapir. They generally prefer living solitarily though may gather in groups when food is scarce. Communicates by whistles, clicks, and hiccup-like calls. Excellent swimmers/divers, can walk along river bottoms, and use their flexible nose as a snorkel to breathe.

A serene Sunday from The Caquetá titi monkey, found in Colombia between the Río Orteguaza and the Río Caquetá. Each titi family sleeps in a tree at night, returning to the same tree night after night. Piamonte Biodiverso is currently working on a conservation project, since only ~120 remain in wild.
