Back in 1979, a young Richie met and had a book signed by the then Doctor Who, Tom Baker. A book that is still very much treasured today. Fast forward 47 years later, and a new autograph arrived this morning. Many thanks to Tom, and to @cygnusalphaevents.bsky.social, I absolutely love it. ❤️

Sorting through my late father's box of old/obsolete UK coins, found this halfpenny piece struck during the reign of George II in 1743. The condition is kind of what you'd expect after 280-odd years, but still a find that put a smile on my face.

The tails side a well worn old British halfpenny piece minted in 1743.
Text stamped into the coin would have originally said "Britannia"
