As a joke went to create a mascot for my local model experimentation app (Kettle Cups) mostly to take the p**s out of the sudden cutesification of agents. Annoyingly, I really like it. Introducing Temp - a tiny office temp who happens to be a cup: earnest, slightly officious.

Yup. I've noticed that holding a mental model of a project becomes really quite tough when you don't really know what's in the magic box - so where to prod when things go wrong? Obvs npm modules etc but still. Reviews, security, bug tracking all becomes outsourced.

The new Mac OSs are really good. Just fixed loads of little things. Like my fingerprint sensor on my keyboard just stopped working months ago. Fixed. And the app switcher on iOS. Was buggy af - fixed. Just nice to see a release that improves the baseline. We don’t need new features always.

5. After around 30 hours at sea, the dinghy was intercepted by the RNLI and those on board transferred to two lifeboats. Two lifeboat personnel tried to secure the empty dinghy. Thomas yelled abuse and knifed the dinghy to deflate it - with a rescuer still on board.
