Completed my very first Silent Hill yesterday in Silent Hill f. That was some good shit, even if the combat was pretty meh. Though I love horror and have an unlimited threshold when it comes to movies; survival horror games have always scared me off til now. Silent Hill 2 next I reckon....

Switched over to SWIRL for Dreamcast/GDEMU and it's incredible. Built on top of the already brilliant openMenu, now you've got play history, play counts, menu music and all manner of QoL features. I love the Dreamcast community in 2026.

Another new Muse album and it's sad to see what that band has become. Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry are S-tier albums. Absolution is great, and while Black Holes and Revelations and The Resistance are still good, the rot starts to set in at that point.

Watched Coyote Vs Acme yesterday, and what can I say? A genuinely funny, sweet, and thought-provoking film that thankfully exists despite WB's best efforts. And yes, as someone who loved Road Runner cartoons as a kid and shared that love with my dad, I did cry towards the end.

Resident Evil was so much fun. The final third maybe doesn't quite hold up compared to the brilliant first two acts that precede it, but it's a great movie that understands survival horror without paying lip service to cry baby "fans" who just want to be bombarded with references.
