We're only a few months into this presidency and I feel like screaming already.

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 01/08/2025

Can we chill with these tariffs?

I think the United States needs a health insurance reset. There are many healthcare systems out there for the U.S. to consider and examine. Learn from the successes and failures of other countries and create something that works best for America.

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

Again, why is the President trying to worsen relations with Canada.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

I don't think I've ever been in favor of a parliamentary system for the United States more than I am now.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

You can do that, though it won't be GDP anymore.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

I am not liking the recommended posts on my Facebook feed. I know it's because I interact with it, but it's kinda annoying. I wonder how many of those are from bots or bot-like people (Engagement/Rage bait farmers)

Does the BBC not have an official Bluesky account??

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

I don't think I can watch the Zelenskyy clip.

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

The American healthcare system can be redone. There are so many existing models that the government can learn from. Analyze what works and what doesn't work in other systems and create something that best fits America's demographics.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Why is the US government trying to tariff its neighbors?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and Taiwanese semiconductors. Wanting to take Greenland and control the panama canal? It's been less than a month.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

Can't the administration call for a review of federal programs without halting funds as broadly as they have?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 06/01/2025

Some of the conspiracies on X are so tiring...

010

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Why is Trump so fixated on Greenland?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

100 followers! Yay! I wonder how many are bots or scammers 😆

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

The Skeleton Crew kids act kinda like kids, yet not clueless. Nice!

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Can Bluesky tighten the screws on bots and scammers?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Can't tell if Twitter crazies are bots or actual nasty people.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Foreign-backed disinformation campaigns are going to be some of the greatest threats to liberal democracy around the globe. Bots can be used to legitimize fake news, slowly changing the attitude of a platform over time. How can you effectively combat that kind of threat?

010

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

What if the U.S. and Canada could form a new country? That would be pretty cool. I assume that the states and provinces would stay intact. To prevent bias, the 63 entities could be called "Lands". XD

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Perhaps presidential systems ARE worse than parliamentary systems. >.<

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Does anyone have a good solution, preferably a long term one, to the looming social security crisis?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

I hope Bluesky can get to bots before it overtakes the platform.

One of my favorite things about FutureCanoe on youtube is that you can observe the power and limits of ingredient/method substitutions. Substitutions are probably pretty common for home cooks who don't have access to all the ingredients/cookware that recipes often require. Great to see this stuff!

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

I hope most of the 82% are just trolling.

011

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

I can sympathize with people feeling frustrated and passionate about their political convictions, but I hope this doesn't become the norm here.

Apparently people cut dog tails and ears for aesthetic purposes. That's so sad. Floppy ears and wagging tails are like the best features of a dog!

Are there spoiler tags on Bluesky?

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

The number of toothbrush options can be really frustrating. They all tout their unique features, but which one is better overall???

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

These starter pack things are great.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 13/11/2024

Who owns bluesky? What is its business model?

100

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

I probably have political views that are different from most people here and I hope respectful and constructive dialogue between people of different persuasions can be had here. Popular posts and their comments on Twitter can be infuriating and it's probably not good for long term mental health.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

What's the point of this? Is there a larger context to this? Does this score political points with voters? Trashing on an American territory with Americans living in it is really a strange thing to say??????

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

Are there any conservative or right-leaning people on this app that are good follows?

110

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 05/09/2024

What is #APSA ? I keep seeing this tag.

110

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 24/12/2023

Did anyone open up this app because of the icon change?////

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 18/10/2023

These alternative Apps to Twitter/X need to speed up their development. Usability and features on these apps just don't compare.

I hereby declare war on British food for having peas.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 06/08/2023

Online politics is so so so frustrating.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 04/08/2023

My wish for Bluesky is for it to become a place where people of all political persuasions and walks of life can gather and engage in discourse with respect and dignity.

000

Richard Shu @richardshu.bsky.social · 04/08/2023

The Bluesky web app looks pretty much just like Twitter. The core features seem to be there.
