Two yrs ago I was anemic, and soon to be diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Now I'm in maintenance with Minimal Residual Disease. I have good insurance and a great oncology team. I take my meds, and monthly blood test and oncology visit. I have to remind myself that I'm a cancer patient. #myeloma

Communication about Multiple Myeloma is extremely difficult. Terms that are either extremely complex or vaguely dumbed down. I decided to start from the beginning and read "Hematology for Beginners" by Richard J. Brooks. It is aimed at a high school audience. Very helpful. #Myeloma

I was at a library book sale, and came across this little book called "Opposites" by Richard Wilbur. (1973). It's a all poetry (maybe doggerel). It is illustrated with humorous line drawings. It may be meant for children, but I just read through it for the 10th or 20th time. #booksky #doggerel
