I have very fond memories of the Sennheiser HD 424. Some will say they lacked bass response, but I tell them to keep their name out of their filthy mouth.

I saw Black Sabbath in 1978. There was some new, unknown band opening for them. Van Hollin, Van Heflin, something like that.

I also loved hearing the Shobijin scolding Godzilla for swearing.

She's incredibly protective of her history, which is entirely her right. But it's a shame that I can recommend "Digital Moonscapes", but you'll have to haunt used CD stores obsessively to find it.

...And then she moved on to the Bell Labs GDS synthesizer, where you build sounds one harmonic at a time. Incredibly challenging, and this brilliant woman made it look easy, and sound like heaven.
