I can *hear* the creaking of the wood and the waves crashing against the ship's hull just looking at this. This is absolutely gorgeous of a room! 🧡

Muscadet Oriental Lilies for Asteri! I love love LOVE lillies and daylillies, and this particular variety reminds me of Asteri's hair, curly, mostly white with a hint of pink! 🧡

*chuckles* Nothing depressing about it! I too share in the wanderlust & rarely manage to settle down anywhere. Say, speaking of beaches... Ever seen the *secret* beach of Shirogane? It's quite the view, & rather isolated if you'd prefer doing workouts without an audience! *points at it on the map*

Khan- *pauses and tilts her head in question* Can I call you Khan? What's your favorite spot on Etheirys? The one vista, the one viewpoint that you always go back to, the one that inspires you the most or leaves you in awe? *looks at Khanah'to expectantly with a smile*

Gulool Ja made Asteri's big sister personality flare out. She was glad to see him accepted by Wuk Lamat & Koana as family & absolutely gave Zoraal Ja an extra punch & kick for what he'd done to the kid. She's looking forward to the day Gulool Ja asks her to spar & will absolutely mentor him! 🧡

The first time it played in MSQ, I had a bit of an awkward giggle & incredulous "Why does this sound so much like a Disney song?" The song itself is... fine. I love the ending of it actually! But its use in MSQ always kinda felt a little off in the few places it plays & doesn't hit right, imo.

She had mention giving thanks to the author if Thancred knew him before she learned he actually was "T. Waters". She used the "thanks" as an excuse, but really the kiss was the trigger for her to fully recognize him as her mate (headcanon of mine) and give in to her feelings for him! 🧡💙

After an entire day dancing on the line of flirting & becoming friends, Asteri ends up sleeping in Thancred's room cause of a storm. They fall asleep on the bed after late night talks over a survival book she learns he's written. Waking up next morning, she gives in to the attraction & kisses him!

Whenever this question pops up, I flip flop a lot between Fire, Wind and Lightning... Asteri can be fierce and driven like Fire, but she can be playful and whimsy like the Wind, but also sharp and quick like Lightning... I can't pick one. 🤣

010

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

Alisaie picks up a VPR fighting style because she sees Asteri using two swords and wants to copy the person she admires the most. ⚔️ Raha tried too, but his coordination was ridiculously bad and likelier to hurt himself and others. 😅

030

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

Asteri's the giggly type of drunk! It takes a fair amount to get her drunk & becomes animated & will sing on top of tables given the right audience! At the end of the night though, the moment she feels safe enough she falls in a deep sleep, usually leaving her lover high and dry hoping for more. 😅

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

Asteri comes back every year as part of the Dotharl tribe, but she & Sadu fall back on their old habits of focusing on the enjoyment of the fight rather than the goal. 😅 Magnai retook the position but lends help to his tribesister if she calls in a favor knowing his position is precarious at best.

Late night reminiscing with the Company of Heroes~ Asteri's absolutely knackered out cause they let her clear the way to five potential campsites as a way to test her patience and abilities. She passed with flying colors but needs the rest. 💤

Doing both of my WoLships cause I caaan~ Thancred - 6ish? Asteri - 5'11 Hades - 7'1 I cheat with Thancred a little by boosting him to 100 instead of 50. The difference with ManRa Hades never fails to make me chuckle though. 😂

Ooh, that's a fun one to think about... • Zelda, she'd be a Sheikah! • Jak & Daxter, Asteri would be from Spargus. • Horizon, she'd be from the Utaru tribe! There's a lot of games I could see Asteri in tbh! 😁

Hades snaps people into fountains, sewers & rivers when he gets annoyed and/or jealous. Despite his flirty & aloof behavior, Thancred was a straight-A student in Sharlayan & had a rivalry with Y'shtola, stemming from their mentors. He wrote multiple books on survival under the pen name "T. Waters".

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

Weapons from pre-ARR to DT! The axe was a gift from Sadu, Magnai and Cirina when Asteri left the Steppe and began adventuring. The daggers were a gift from Hien in post-SB patches. She created the swords with creation magicks during the Zenos fight of EW. They're the same color as her soul!

Come struggle with us about arm/hand/finger placements, and taking the gpose only to realize 2hrs later you forgot to move an arm & the hand is clipping through a body part- *vexed* BUT, you get to put what's in your head into a visual format for you, by you, it's great! Yours is lovely!! 🧡😍

🤣 Yush! That Denmo video is so funny! I wish I played Violent more. Always fun to see the reactions in roulettes with the typical "OMG SANTA?!" but I get overwhelmed in cities when people start swarming me though. I'll usually say Santa's gotta go check the list again & poof back to my FC house. 😅

His retainers include elves from the Santa Clause movie (Bernard & Judy) and some of the Reindeers (Comet, Rudolph, Prancer & Dasher). The new Plaid Interior Wall of 7.3 was a christmas gift come early and made the walls of the first floor of the house absolutely horrendous. I love it! 😁

I saw the trailer for Violent Night (2022) and loved it. I half joked I should make a Santa alt around the holidays, partly because the movie's title was perfect for a Roe name. Lo and behold, Violent Night and his FC called Santa's Workshop, just to have an extra themed house to decorate! 🎅

I *need* the anime beach scene. I need to see the Scions playing volleyball, I need to have the bonfire scene, I need to have the test of courage scene. By all the gods and kamis and primals and divine beings, I need to see them together chilling and having fun before we head into the next story. 😭

I feel you! While I was a big WoW lore nerd & was there for the extended media, I still thought it sucked that the game couldn't tell its own story properly. Someone else put it perfectly that XIV sometimes feels like "the theme park ride for a movie you haven't seen" and I couldn't agree more. 🥲

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

This has been my main criticism towards DT, EW patches & other content that's so obviously made to go "Ah ha! Look at all this! Does it not tickle your nostalgia!" No, no it doesn't, game. Not everyone has played all 16+spinoff FF games. Please focus on your original story, s'what I'm here for! :')

Thancred & Jacke are best mates from their time in the Upright Thieves of Limsa. Adjusted the ages of Sadu, Magnai and Cirina a tad to fit with Asteri's story. (?,27,21 to 35,33,29 in DT) Estinien has lasting scars and dragon features (eyes/fangs) from Nidhogg. Themis was Azem(Asteri)'s student!

Left to Right~ 🎣 Carryalot is stoic but gets animated about fish. 🎣 Susuba wants to prove Wawalago wrong about fishing. 🪓 Khuyag got dragged out of the Steppe unwillingly. ⚔️ Bromm's a big teddy bear sent by Gaius. ⛏️ Avad's working for his family back in Ala Mhigo. 🌳 Florus gets excited about soil.

I tend to settle on specific hairstyles and give them lore reasons to "stick" to them. Asteri's warrior braids is her typical adventurer hair. Her messy curls is when the leather string she's used since she was a child snaps in ShB. She goes back to the braids in DT!

"You look hungry, have a riceball~" *stuffs a riceball in Ruh's mouth after catching the book* "You really shouldn't throw these around Ruh~ What if you had damaged it!" Asteri, a fellow bookwyrm through and through, will prioritize the book's safety always! 📙🧡😉

"Mmwha-?" Though she wouldn't do the baking, likelier to burn things to a crisp than succeed, she's always down for the more simple cooking tasks. If that involves cleaning out the bowl after the cookies are on the baking sheet, there's no restraint there! 😁

031

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 25/08/2025

"Nothing quite beats negative thoughts out than a good spar! Wanna trade blows for a bit?" Comes with her tendencies as a battle junkie, and also how she grew up alongside Sadu in the tribe. Sparring always seemed the better answer to deal with conflict, doubt, sadness, you name it! 👊

030

✨Asteri ⊙ 7.5 @riceballgremlin.bsky.social · 25/08/2025

Asteri's a kinesthetic learner! She needs to physically do the thing to properly learn & understand it. She'll gleefully jump into practice, especially when it comes to martial abilities. There's still a lot of things that escapes her however like cooking or crafting things beyond simple actions. 😅

She usually latches on to most shortened names for friends and family, some other pet names she uses: - Alie & Alphi for the twins - Uri for Urianger - Fili for Minfilia On the flip side, Thancred uses "'Steri" with Asteri, his lominsan accent slipping out now and again!

Asteri teases Thancred with "Ser T. Waters" after she gushed over one of her favorite Sharlayan authors. She reeeally liked some of the survival tips and tricks and used them often in her own adventuring. Thancred blushed something fierce at that one and Asteri's used it ever since to tease him! 🧡💙
