It’s wild how even in its very earliest form, Ys is so damned fun. This game would have knocked my socks off if I had played it in 1987.

Hey Ribs Rack™! Good morning and happy Wednesday! Slight change of plans: Today we were having the Pizza Tower race but I'm moving it to Saturday to better accomodate for Stinky. I'm playing NecroDancer today, lesgooo. Maybe some Ys VIII later. See you there in a bit!

000

Ricardo Chirino @ribschirino.bsky.social · 13/09/2023

Tomorrow is the day of the Pizza Tower race! I'm excited to find out what my PB is, I expect it be in the 2-3h range for any%, which def. sucks but hey, you gotta start somewhere, and also that'd be a big improvement over my first playthru clear time of 5h+ 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

How insane that iPhone 15 is probably the most powerful portable gaming device. Won't beat a Steam Deck or handheld PC in flexibility and games library, but you are running games natively with raytracing and current gen console level graphics. It's CRAZY.
