I saw a tweet from a certain creator about Ravage and I got a sad idea. I just didn't expect to see a wave of cute fanart of him and Sounders before posting this so please don't hurt me ;-; (The screenshot will be in the replies) #Soundwave #Ravage #Megatron #Maccadam #Transformers

He’s gonna need a lot of cloth, but I’m sure he can do it!

Thundercracker is in a fanfic-ey mood today. Soundwave may or may not be into it #Thunderwave #Soundwave #Thundercracker #Maccadam #Transformers

Thanks for looking after lil' CJ! Everyone's not too happy about being separated. It'll take awhile to regain their trust. Also is it me or is Cliff a lil more chunky then I last saw him... probably nothing #Cliffjumper #Mirage #Hound #Maccadam #Transformers

This little fella’s been acting more moody than usual, so I have to separate him from Mirage and Hound for a bit. Can you guys watch over him for a day or two? Thanks! #Cliffjumper #Maccadam #Transformers

It’s kinda funny cause every now and then I see fanart pop up, but hardly any fanfics

this is generally how i approach complex designs, start simple and then build the details on it. hope you'll find this helpful! 🦜 #lintuart #transformers #maccadam #strawpage

Q: What do you use as references when drawing bots? Especially the more tricky ones like Prime models?

A: For references I have a lot of screenshots saved from the shows, movies and comics. For example TFP Soundwave is quite hard to draw, so I have lots of refs from different angles.

When looking at refs, try to find simple shapes first to learn the character's silhouette before focusing on details.

For Soundwave you can use lots of triangular shapes to build his frame. Take note of the proportions as well. Once you understand the basic shapes, it'll be easier to draw him in any poses you want.

When going for details, try to focus on them one at a time, for example how the shapes on his head are connected. Find references that show close ups from different angles if possible.

This method can be applied when learning to draw anything, not only robots. Hope it helps!

I noticed a lil' chunky background Mirage when watching some G1 . So I decided to have fun with these two dweebs. Sorry for making Mirage a lil' ugly here :3 (Chunky Mirage in the replies :D) #Cliffjumper #Mirage #Cliffraj #Maccadam #Transformers
