I just REALLY like making cool stuff for other people to make use of, & this seemed like an actually useful route for that. I'd like to make a whole series of these, expand into other types of asset packs (banners, panels, etc), but for today, we'll start with this one. I love space so much you guys

I'm broke as a joke, too close to going hungry for comfort, sleeping like ass, & full of bones that don't really want to hold me up. But I'm still getting out of bed in the morning, however 'barely', so if that's the new baseline for awhile? So be it. Can't stop to process, so we keep goin, mate❤️‍🩹

It's gonna be rocky for a bit while I punch this thing down & return to 'functional', but every second of grace I can bargain for is treasured, in the meantime

Feeling terribly lethargic today, so take my cat instead. The artist and the art (It's fine, the couch was free, and she's got no interest in eating the stuff that falls out of it. Only in wanton destruct-- er, playtime)

Kittens, hummingbirds, coffee, a soft blanket. I could go on & on about the things she adored, & I'd be here all day. But one thing's consistent about the messages from others: Her laugh, her smile, her kindness, all remembered across the board with joy. She touched a lot of lives before the end.

She wasn't ready to be a mom, but loved & wanted me anyway. Her later years were full of fear, sheltering me beyond reason because I was the only thing holding her together after my father chose someone else. But oh, she tried, with a sturdy work ethic & a nice word for others every single day.

Her life was so, so hard. Poverty, five brothers to share the scraps between, jobs that kept the lights on & no more. Paycheck to paycheck her entire life, she played the hand she had to the best of her ability. Then she had me, after trying thrice for a healthy baby. Almost got one, too!

TW: Death, grief, & moving on. A week ago, cancer finally sent my mother to rest after a long battle. Through lymphoma, remission, and later lung cancer, she held fast for a time, and then she was gone. How do you summarize a life? By the sum of its parts. Mind if I talk about her a minute?
