Back from my trip and I'm tired. I also miss FFXIV so I'm looking forward to getting back to it.

I guess I picked well. Hopefully we see what evolved mode has in store in a month or so. #EorzeaJobChange

International cat cafe visit! I love the two that are best friends holding paws.

I finally finished all the boards, so now it's time to fully upgrade gear, get the monsters I'm missing, level monsters up, and tackle the upgraded boards/get legendary ranks. #ffxiv #gpose #vanillagpose #roegadyn

The ending to Link's Awakening is much more bittersweet than I remembered. It's a good game! The remake did a great job capturing the feel of it, and I love the miniature aesthetic.

Doing Beastmaster stuff has got me pumped for more deep dungeon. I really like solo FFXIV content I guess. #ffxiv #gpose #vanillagpose #roegadyn

I'm a big fan of FFIV, so I like duality between Paladin and Dark Knight. I really should make myself play tank more. #ffxiv #gpose #vanillagpose #roegadyn

I hope Beastmaster is along the lines of what evolved mode will be, because this job is such a rush once you get the hang of it. I'll genuinely enjoy having a relearning period for everything I play.

I've been playing the Link's Awakening remake, and I'm so glad this is as ridiculous as in the original.

Can I actually learn to draw a bit by practicing straight and curved lines? I don't know, but I'll give it a shot.

I miss my cat and I'm lonely, so it's time to hit up the cat cafe! This place has been a lifeline since my cat died.

I had a fun time trotting the big lad out to #lofiartparty. It's a pretty space in there.

I'm getting the hang of Beast Master. Level 30 Beast Master, anyway. I'm leveling in the crucible because it's fun and I want to rank up monsters. Only three more levels to the next board!

I've been putting together a list of favorite songs from each year since I was born. It's a pretty fun exercise, but some years are nuts. 1998 is absolutely stacked, for instance.

I've been pretty mad about Square Enix's Switch 2 releases. Mad enough to write a letter to them, which is a level of mad normally reserved for my elected representatives. Here's the deal:

HD-2D is a specific visual style with a pretty defined framework, but I like that they take the effort to make each game have its own look within that framework

I've learned that I now have enough tools and techniques to do actual work on an anxious day and not spiral into a panic attack. I've also learned the cost of doing that for too many days in a row. Tomorrow has to be a mental health day.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

I am mad. Even if they didn't listen to the feedback, please keep posting your stuff here. You art is powerful and inspires many. It might never please everybody, even so, don't be stopped, don't be censored. Post and post and post, I want to see all creativity here. All of it. SFW. NSFW.

People saying they're burned out on the HD-2D aesthetic indicates to me that it's a strong art style with a point of view. Art styles like that tend to be more polarizing; there isn't much to say about bland photorealism, after all.
