It was placed in a box for safety and went with staff who would house the parakeet until its people could be found. So, while in the box, Stephany asked to handle it. It cuddled her and was sweet. We tried to introduce it to the class who were waiting for the bus.

Teacher Fail: so the preschool on campus was in an uproar. A parakeet had gotten lose from somewhere and landed on a teacher at the preschool during student hours. This parakeet clearly is people raised. It cuddled in, handled being around children.

Not ok: I’m literally speaking with a friend who has a baby (2 yo) with another on the way, and I’m giving them ideas for making sure if he’s out with either mom or dad and they get “mistakenly taken by ICE” that someone can contact other family to get the kid home. This wasn’t in Adulting 101
