Ooo i'll try and get some stuff sorted! thankfully had a lil weekend away booked next week anyway, so fingers crossed that helps!

LMAO that's reassuring because for me it's been Fire Emblem. Ungodly amount of hours being put in

Is there like... a recommended post-layoff trajectory? I was locked the fuck in for the first 24 hours. Now I am def in the pit of despair

I know I have been hyping up Rhiannon a lot recently, but I was reminded today of the time she interviewed Randy Pitchford and, when asking about game preservation, seemingly caused him to have a mild existential crisis about the heat death of the universe... and Battleborn.

Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile are both on strike this week, as workers continue to push back against the company's decision to scrap work from home. Read our report here (it's a Patreon link, but open to everyone): www.patreon.com/PeopleMakeGa...

Josh has been doing this for years. He’s one of the best news editors I’ve ever worked with and an even better person. He might specialise in FF14, but if you’re looking for a news writer, you won’t find many better then him. Another baffling loss for TG that will be someone else’s gain.

We coined Joshua “Big Josh” in the TG news team, and while he might think it’s because of his height, it’s actually because he’s a unbelievably big talent and a big asset to any team I’ve been honoured to work with him for as many years as I have, and it’s yet another big loss for the site

I really hope you can take it easy until you're back. As I will be trying to. 🫂

just when I think I might have finally stopped blubbering... I don't even know what to say. you were the first person to DM me when we started, and you have been the best friend anyone could ask for. Even when I was very annoying. thank you 🫂 you're going to keep killing it. You all will.

Josh was also let go today. One of the best to do it. Working in news alongside him was nothing but a pleasure, but he also did great work in guides and reviews. Also, if you need FF14 expertise, look no further.
