They entered an Age of Candy Corn, or to shorten it a bit, take the first to letters of CAndy and the last two of coRN, and they enter an Age of Carn, or as some might call it, a carnage.

So what was the thing she was missing, and how does that jive with the IRL mythology? Trying to be vague to avoid spoilers.

Her whip/paddle seems distracted, like it is already thinking about its after work plans. LOL

The one on the right has visible boobs, no undercut haircut, and doesn't look like she is 90 years old with mange. So it is not entirely accurate.

The picture shows that they are selling a book too. They are just also drawing people in with extra fan art and such.

Rhiethreal @rhiethreal.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

real talk: If you are selling an indie books, then I don't know or care about your characters/world. It is your job to sell me on them, and most artists are really bad at that advertising aspect. Meanwhile, fan art is going to draw me in immediately, because I already have an attachment to them.

Cool drawing, even cooler design

You said you had 17,000 followers on Twitter. On Bluesky, you have less than 10,000. That's not to mention artists that don't have an established base and just catch stray commissions. I just do art as a hobby, so I don't have to worry about it. They do it so they can eat, so I can't blame them.

110

Rhiethreal @rhiethreal.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Most of the ones that I saw talking about it do. They use postybird, or whatever it is called, to post to multiple social media sites at once, including Twitter and Bluesky. They even post it on DA, and they say all of their commission engagement comes from Twitter (like over 90%).

A lot of artists don't have a choice. That is how they make their living, and AI has made it that much harder for them. If they leave Twitter, most of their user base will not follow them, and they will not be able to pay their rent nor buy food.

"Existing users can update their installations with the sudo pacman -Syu command or by using Plasma Discover." I'm pretty sure Discover is not enabled by default, and they recommend NOT using it to update CachyOS. I believe the preferred methods are pacman, Shelly, or Cachy-Update.

Using AI to replace workers increase profits, you know, until everyone does it, then no one has any money to buy what you are selling. OOPS.

This would probably be useful if Discord did not already exist. How about something actually useful instead, like longer posts and edit functionality?

Heads up, artists 🚨 There’s a massive scam wave hitting DeviantArt right now DO NOT CLICK IT. If you have artist friends on DA, please boost this. I’d hate to see someone lose their account or payment info over something this stupid 🖤 { #DeviantArt #ArtistBeware #ScamAlert }

"Everytime you see a horse, it is a different horse." FALSE. I have seen some horse multiple times. In fact, if I look at a horse, turn away, then turn back, it is in fact the same horse still there. Therefore, the claim that "everytime you see a horse it is a different one" is misinformation.

Millennials loved anime, but the older generations hated it. Millennials were still kids in the 90s though.

I liked the live action one too. The only one I ever avoided watching was that CGI Netflix one.

Honestly, that is even worse. That's blatant tokenism. It's like when Hollywood would always include a token black character to put a check mark on a list. Not every story needs a black/trans character, but if they are going to be there, make sure they matter for more than a checkmark on a list.

Nah, they should just be available after you have found them once. The underlab already functions like a checkpoint, (heals you, refills your estus flasks, lets you swap weapons, etc.) so there is no reason it couldn't allow you to swap sub weapons as well.

110

Rhiethreal @rhiethreal.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Or you could just add a subweapon armory to the weapon chest like everyone wants.

In the 90s anime was starting to show that there was a western market for more adult targeted action cartoons, and the 90s was also about being XTREME and EDGY, such as "Sega does what Nintendon't." So adds like this were on point for the time.

Feels kind of bland and soulless to me. Got a bit of uncanny valley vibe going on too. Usually with animations and cartoons, I expect more exaggerated movements, but everything here feels super constrained and phoned in.
