There, yesterday's random pokemon is finally done. It was supposed to be sad Feebas looking at its distorted image in the mirror but wet on wet is more like a cheat code than a method of distortion so um. I liked the "real" one's expression though.

Today's ramdom pokemon generated was Luxray. This was supposed to be done with lines but at some point the lines became more like dots so it ended up having a different feeling. I also have zero yellow pens so I used green instead. Didn't realize how slim he actually is until I did this.

Lucky enough for random pokemon generator to give me my boy Steelix. Decided to use the gray brush pens again but more thoughtfully. It took forever. Process: cute sketch. Oh fuck I ruined it with my bad painting. Maybe if I pen in his eyes/mouth... his whiskers feel incomplete, I'll outline them. Okay they're out of place I have to outline all of it now. And then the final version ended up cute after all.

Random Pokemon generator gave me Dewott, reminding me of when a kid told me all the starters turn into furries and I pointed out Oshawott is the opposite. Then I imagined maybe they just got back pain in their 30s that made it painful to stand upright. So they hunch and soon just go on all fours.

Random pokemon generator chose Heatran. I do not like Heatran. So I painted him stuck on his back on this rough grain paper I hate because it's so much harder to get the paint to take that color control suffers. This painting is perfect conceptually and worthy of Heatran in actuality.

Random Pokémon generator choose Kubfu, who I don't remember. I decided to try using all grays and not leaving any white or using other colors. But mixing these cold and warm grays with the shading this way fully does not work. This sketch paper I used is very cool though, it's got a little grain.

I want to laugh about the bots attaching themselves to the most ridiculous posts as usual, but nowadays this is the only bot attention I get and it's pretty disgusting. I want to go back to the bot that insisted I could get my stolen Neopoints from the early 2000s back if I sent him my bank info.
