This is Moo Cow. He lived in the parking lot of a restaurant near the house I lived in til I was 6. Often we would walk to say hi to him. The restaurant closed. He was gone. A few weeks ago, on a trip, I stopped for coffee and there he was! I got out and put my hands on him. Oh, my dear old friend.

Broke my toe then fractured three more while still healing. And last weekend Jeff broke his foot right in the middle. Terrible break. Can’t drive for 8 weeks. Has to sleep in the boot. 😳 Not a good summer for feet at my house.

Still in the process of mailing out Cave Wall #18. A sloooow process this year due to broken bones, vacation, plumbing disasters, more broken bones, mental health stuff, slow address verifications, and so many undelivered issues. Apparently lots of Cave Walls are floating out there in the aether.

My mom, the moment they first brought me to her.

A new mother n her hospital bed, hospital gown, holding out her arms to someone just off camera. A food tray is before her bc back then they took the baby away and cleaned it up and brought in food before bringing the baby back. The look on her face is pure love/joy. I wish I could describe it better.

Yeah so me too. I’ve grown super sensitive to horror. But I kept seeing scenes with these queer characters so I tried it, figured I could stop anytime. But EMMA, it’s so good. The scary wasn’t too scary. It’s more about love than fear. I came for the queer but ALL the characters are wonderful.

I’ve been accepted into a long-term study of bipolar patients, following each one for 15-20 years and I am super excited about this for some reason. YES study me. Study bipolar brains and figure out more about how they work and what will help. I want to be part of that.

I carried C more than A. C lived on me. But I have barely any photos of either being worn. Here are a few.

I call this one: Mommy walking around, wearing the baby in a green wrap, while everyone else eats at the seafood restaurant. I still snagged plenty of hushpuppies while walking.
