Some animal left pumpkin seeds in the front yard, we let the vines grow. Yesterday flowers started growing, so hopefully some free pumpkins in a couple weeks. Feels late, though. #pumpkin #vines

tinkering with local AI/LLM models, so no data center was used in this tinkering session. installed LM Studio Did a bit of googling to find some models to download onto my laptop that would be suited to some tinkering in various domains. Downloaded a model, and asked this question :D

Am i smart?

LLM replies "Yes, oh you're so smart etc. etc."

Asked why so condescending

LLM replied "oops, will be more neutral going forward"

Yeah, whatever.

It's cool and scary to see how easy it is to install an LLM on a capable machine, and how it starts reinforcing your self-image :-(

I was focusing on the praying mantis, sitting on a wilted zinnia flower head. A nice looking pink zinnia flower slightly out of focus in the foreground

But did not notice the wasp sitting on the colorful pink zinnia, until the mantis grabbed it :-)

Perhaps one of the easiest dinners: halved small potatoes, nuked for 7 mins (near-done). Chopped Bell pepper, mushrooms, diced onion. Last-night's grilled tilapia. Fry everything up with some seasoning (garlic, herbs, salt and pepper) then coarsely tear up tilapia. Heat, serve and eat. #dinner

Cast iron skillet with the contents as described in skeet. Needs a bit more color next time, but not too bad. And ready within 20 mins or so, including prep!
