In the past few years a few horror-adjecent gems I played in October have been Crow Country, Clocktower and Carrion. I'm looking for something that's in line with these and is around 4-5 hours. Give me your best shot friends!

Promotional graphic for “Wholesome Direct 2026” featuring a smiling person wearing glasses and a light-colored jacket, standing outdoors and pointing to the side. The photo is framed by a colorful, nature-themed border inspired by cute cartoon woodland scenes, with flowers, rabbits, mushrooms, and other whimsical characters. Large yellow text at the top reads “WHOLESOME DIRECT 2026,” and text at the bottom reads “OFFICIAL CO-STREAMER.”

Recently I bought @bitmapbooks.com's latest book "50 Indie Games that Changed the World" and as I was reading it I thought 'Wouldn't it be fun to stream these 50 games?' So starting in November, that's what I'm going to do.

A vibrant, colorful book cover titled "50 Indie Games that Changed the World" by Bitmap Books. The background transitions from soft pink and orange hues at the top to deep purple clouds at the bottom. In the center, a large metallic gold number "50" stands out. Surrounding the number are numerous stylized characters and objects from various iconic indie games, such as Shovel Knight, Fez, Celeste, Cuphead, and others, forming a lively and nostalgic collage. The title and publisher's name are printed in elegant gold text at the top and bottom of the cover. The book is placed on a light wooden surface.

I went to BSG Annual last week, it was my first event as co-lead camera crew. I took a record low amount of photos 😂 (I had to miss like 2.5 days). Since Flickr doesn't allow downloading originals for free accounts, here's the linky to see and grab them: rhass.rocks/bsg-photos/

Did you know I played TF2 competitively? By that I mean I failed in protecting @gossemuijzer.bsky.social, which was my job. Anyway, got a soundtrack.

From my collection I think Chandigarh is my favourite. A picture doesn't do it justice, but this one has a very clever use of UV coating which makes it really pop.

One of the fun parts about a new relationship is that you try out fun things for date night that you wouldn't normally do by yourself. Anyway I'm going to do some pottery this weekend.

Boy, returning to an MMO after 1000+ days of inactivity sure is overwhelming. What do any of the skills on my 3 full skill bars even do? I even got en error trying to make a screenshot after lining up a gpose. So.. have some older ones I guess.

Because we hit the 8500 pounds total for Changelog, I said I would eat the black candy. Supposed to be horrible, there's only one in the entire pack. It did not go as expected.

The schedule for Changelog is live! For my section I would like to take you all into the world of Speedrun Marathons, a world that brought me to Twitch in 2016 and a world I hold dear to my heart ever since attending my first BSG. I will be hosting a Speedrun "marathon" in my 3 hour slot.

With the month almost ending, my new year resolution was already in jeopardy. But I managed to find a new fruit for this month, and one for next month. March's fruit: The Chirimoya April's Fruit: The Dragon Fruit And I remembered my candid camera shot of the week! Shot with a Nikon D5300.

A photo of a green fruit, the Chimimoya, with a yellow Dragon Fruit in the background.

I've not taken a lot of casual photos in 2024, so for this year I plan to whip out the camera more. Having said that; here's my morning pecan pastry with coffee shot with my Nikon D5300.

A close up photo of a starbucks iced coffee hazelnut macchiato with a strong depth of field. In the foreground there is a blurry pecan pastry and in the background there's a TV that is fully blurred.

Went for a walk in the snow, was disappointed by the lack of crunch and the abundance of sludge. So I treated myself to a brekkie snack.

Starbucks white chocolate mocha and a pecan pastry. Next to it is the book "legends of localization" and in the back there's plants.
