The image shows Sam Read Bookseller, an independent bookshop located in the village of Grasmere in the English Lake District.
It is housed in a traditional Lakeland stone building with slate roofing.
Open since 1887, making it one of the oldest independent bookshops in the north of England.
It stocks a wide range of books including local interest books, guides and maps, and the works of the Lake Poets.
There can be few places in England that can lay claim to so many literary connections, from William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge and the Romantics, to John Ruskin, Beatrix Potter, EM Forster, Arthur Ransome and Malcolm Lowry.

Dodged the air traffic control imbroglio yesterday to go to Vienna, first time outside the UK since 2018. Truly stunning city, walked around open mouthed most of the day just taking in the architecture 😮😃

A year today since Little Joe🌈 left us. Difficult day but we’re going to remember him by parkwalking at one of his favourite places #FellFoot #parkrun. He always charged down the bank from the car park keen to join the fun & though he never got his volunteering credits always played his part!
