The NES USB-C Multi-AV mod is almost done. The buck converter needs a little tuning before it's ready, and I should have some parts in around Tuesday. at least the boards are now modular so IF there has to be another redesign, it wouldn't be a big deal.

The 4 stages of recovery rusted, polished, rust reformer, primer. if this shield needed ground conductivity, then it'd be layered with copper weld paint. I love how it came out. Repairing the TV is making use of elbow grease 💪

NanoflowX preview. 1 PD trigger, 1 cable, my 100W wall adapter on the line, one vat of water ... It works! more trays are needed as well as a mini oven that can accommodate boards up to X size. long lasting resistance against the elements is at hand! more details to come 👀

picked up this dope CRT VHS combo Phillips TV and portable dvd player today! the TV needs repair, but the snow is good and the picture from composite is good. meanwhile, the DVD player can become a fun portable console project. didn't manage to get sony trinitron today - maybe next time

I've been trying very hard to get a ceph cluster working. With every failure, I learn something new. At the 4th attempt FINALLY got a health ok, but immediately turns to warning and OSDs get busy from unknown processes making PGs getting stuck and causing everything to burn. that was my weekend 😵‍💫

dear qidi R&D, the box design sucks and needs to have the extruders easily accessible to clean instead of requiring to teardown the unit. also, it would be cool to adjust the tension as it's eating filament. it's not fun wasting filament.

A test print of all the things on the Qidi like I do with the Mono SE and it was a successful failure. I'll have to spend time to update the models so I can have 1 set that works for resin and fdm that keeps support waste at a minimum. would be nice to be able to do bulk with fdm

1 mystery solved today after modding a clients' DSi XL. EM1 had a broken leg which was too intermittent charging to zero charging when it got here. Another DSi XL from a client is proving very difficult. No board scans for the board revision is making it pretty tough to diagnose, but hope to fix it

the first serious print of Q2C I made to align mounting points level and plum came out perfectly first try and all the pipe mounting holes are ready. laser level cleared, and I can finally see the end of this project nearing. gotta make the best use of that vertical space lol

Parts for the NES mod are coming today! If the issue isn't fixed, then I think it's the TCD circuit. more calibrations being done with the Qidi Q2C and almost nailed the right settings before getting super serious with this printer. as far as material goes, PCTG has been very good to work with.

separated the lemon drop peppers before moving them to larger containers. the girdfinity boxes do nice for seedlings. the peachdsws are looking nice, peperoncini finally has a buddy coming out, and the pequin is finally showing some life after making believe none of the seeds were viable.
