Due to sanctions, these planes have not been getting required services. Services. They are death traps, crashes waiting to happen. If Trump had any decency, he would say no way until they agree to a complete ceasefire.

I'm not saying believe in T, either. When T is gone & we recover one day from all this, that's different. Beijing funds Russia & will absolutely devour European industry IF you let them (as we did, & this is why T is now doing this)

China is China's friend. Beijing smiles when it wants something & is a genocidal regime funding Russia's war.

As it is impossible for Ukraine to hit all the Russian "archers," they must also strike the Russian "arrows" & need our help. Air defense saves civilian lives & infrastructure. Talk to your elected representatives to help them more, wherever you live!

Ukraine still in Kursk & Belgorod Oblasts These incursions rely on secure supply lines from Ukraine proper These incursions are an outsized embarrassment to Putin & force his fascist invaders to destroy Russian lands while also demonstrating how inefficient the Russian military is Slava Ukraini

Russia is probably more effective at these other forms of war than it is with its soldiers!

Not terribly surprising. China has a surplus of men due to female infanticide in relation to Beijing's 1-child policy. Probably some of them are incels... And figure they can absorb some bullets.

On TV, Euronews were the ones who would show video without commentary, no? I loved that. Let people see without filling their heads with narratives. If they are interested, the people can find out more. Politico, in general, seems like all editorials.

Russia was supposed to have taken Pokrovsk months ago... Yet, Ukraine not only stopped that advance, but has been regaining land recently (blue areas)... Slava Ukraini & down with the fascist invaders Source: ISW

I don't find euronews impressive. Example, a read an article and then asked the journalist for a source on his claim that fighting in Bakhmut was seeing 1:1 losses. Emailed the editor too. Completely ignored by both. That's not a credible source, IMO. It's a megaphone.

Note - this post doesn't mean I agree with T tariffs It'll raise prices My point is to see whether it is a crippling blow or an inconvenience. I think the latter, but am happy to be convinced otherwise.
000
Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
Yes, I'm not against all tariffs, but they must have a REAL plan and be based on a REAL reason, such as the one you pointed out. I hope nations negotiate with the dingdong for the sake of my people but I also think they need to "find out" the hard way to break the MAGA spell.

Agree Too much power & too little sanity
110
Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
To clarify, because it seems I may be being misunderstood. I don't support the way T is doing the tariffs, nor do I buy into his America is a victim of foreign nations (except those that cheat, like China). Tariffs will be paid by the consumer. They voted for tariffs, so they can pay them.

Europe already absorbs ~500B from China annually, like the USA Have fun absorbing another couple hundred billion

Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
China will devour your labor sector as it did USA's. It's a bad choice for Europe's 500m people, who luxury markets cannot sustain. Trust China at your peril, learn from our mistake Also, European leaders bristle at the product dumping by Beijing in Europe, so Spain's bonehead leader aside...

Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
Trust dear leader of China Don't worry about the Uyghur genocide Dear leader will devalue currency so you can buy more Chinese products Dear leader prices will undercut European labor Trust dear leader of China
000
Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
As for prices. Yeah, they'll rise. The average American will have to pay this fee, which is basically how America operates. Punish the companies that moved their factories? No... It's a crappy, Uber capitalist system

Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
I don't suggest it would be instant/painless Time, training, & money All things businesses have They moved factories there, they can move them out. India is happy to receive, as are other countries The question is more general... Does China offer anything that cannot be sourced elsewhere?
100
Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
At this time, I absolutely agree with you, and I live in Europe. Hopefully, by building enough of these things, they won't have to be used.

Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
Easily lost, I suppose Remember how America had all sorts of factories. Well, the CEOs moved those to many countries, including China, quite easily. They can move them again, quite easily But let's all act like this is as complex as developing rocket fuel

I don't think the China card is false but I also don't believe it will save him. Agree 100%... The divider-in-chief Biden 2020's message of unity worked against him.

Rgr Historian @rgrhistorian.bsky.social · 11/04/2025
So, anyone who doesn't agree with you on things is a "right-winger in denial" You sound really smart, too. Yet. None of you geniuses can name one thing made in China that cannot be sourced elsewhere. So, while you attack people, you fail to defeat their ideas. You're weak.

This has been what I suspected. Another fellow mentioned that it wouldn't be a simple & immediate shift to the new market realities, so there would be short-term consumer pain.
